The 16th Santosham Film Awards [lower-alpha 1] was an awards ceremony held at Hyderabad, India on 26 August 2018 recognized the best films and performances from the Tollywood films and music released in 2017, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. [1] [2] The awards are annually presented by Santosham magazine. The ceremony was announced on 3 August 2018 with Srikanth being the chief guest. [3]

Tamanna Bhatia, is an Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema. She has appeared in over 80 films, and has won two Santosham Film Awards, a SIIMA Award, and has received the Kalaimamani Award.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jaya Prakash Reddy</span> Indian actor (1946–2020)

Jaya Prakash Reddy was an Indian actor who predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Born in Sirvel of Andhra Pradesh, he came into the limelight with the film Samarasimha Reddy (1999) where he played the role of Veera Raghava Reddy. He acted as an antagonist in several films such as Jayam Manade Raa (2000) and Chennakesava Reddy (2002). Later in his career, he was also featured in many comic roles. He died at his home in Guntur on 8 September 2020, at an age of 74, from massive cardiac arrest. He was honoured with Special Jury Award (Alexander) for his contribution to Tollywood at the 16th Santosham Film Awards.

The 60th Filmfare Awards South ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2012 is an event that held on 20 July 2013 at the Hyderabad International Convention Center. The Black lady was unveiled by actress Tamannaah Bhatia at a press meet held in Chennai, on 20 June 2013. The awards were announced and distributed at Hyderabad on 20 July 2013. Sundeep Kishan and Chinmayi Sripaada were the honorable anchors of the show with Chinamyi hosting the filmfare the second time.

Venkata Prabhu Prasad, known professionally as Saptagiri, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Telugu films. He received Nandi Award as Best Male Comedian for his role in Express Raja (2016). He received Santosham Allu Ramalingaiah Smarakam Award at 15th Santosham Film Awards in 2017.

Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian actress known for her work in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. Her first role came in 2005 at the age of 15 with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra in Hindi. The same year she made her Telugu film debut with Sree, and the following year she made her Tamil debut with Kedi. None of these films were profitable ventures. In 2007, Tamannaah achieved her first success in Telugu and Tamil cinema with Happy Days and Kalloori respectively. Her portrayal of a college student in both films received critical acclaim, with the latter earning her a nomination in the Best Actress – Tamil category at the 55th Filmfare Awards South ceremony. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. Son of film producer Bellamkonda Suresh, he made his debut with the action comedy film Alludu Seenu (2014) which won him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He made his Hindi debut with the remake of the 2005 Telugu movie Chatrapathi in 2023.

F2: Fun and Frustration is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Mehreen Pirzada. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The plot follows two men who try to control their dominating wives after getting married.

F3: Fun and Frustration is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. It is a standalone sequel to F2: Fun and Frustration (2019) and the second installment of Fun and Frustration series. The film stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada reprising their roles from the prequel. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.

The 20th Santosham Film Awards, officially known as Santosham – Suman TV South Indian Film Awards 2021, was an awards ceremony held at Hyderabad, India on 14 November 2021. The ceremony recognized the best films and performances from the Tollywood and other Indian language films and music released in 2019 and 2020, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. The awards are annually presented by Santosham Magazine. The event replaced the 18th and 19th ceremonies of Santosham Film Awards. The 18th awards ceremony was scheduled to be held in September 2020, which was cancelled to due to COVID-19 pandemic in India.

The 21st Santosham Film Awards, officially known as Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2022, was an awards ceremony held at Hyderabad, India on 26 December 2022. The ceremony recognized the best films and performances from the Tollywood and other Indian language films and music released in 2021 and 2022, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. The awards are annually presented by Santosham Magazine.
