17 EP is an EP by Finnish rapper Gettomasa which was released on June 23, 2017 via Warner Music Finland [1] and PME Records. The EP features Rekami, Kingfish, Van Hegen, Axel Kala, and Riimi. [2] [ unreliable source ]

The EP peaked at number 24 on the Finnish albums chart. [3] It was praised for its "sharp flows and rhymes", [4] and was nominated for the Hip Hop of the Year and Critics' Choice awards at the 2017 Emma-gaala. [5]

Qstock is an annual two-day music festival held at the end of July in Oulu, Finland. The festival lineup includes some of the biggest names in both the domestic and international music scene, regardless of the genre. The first Qstock festival was organised in 2003. The festival has quickly grown into the biggest summer event in northern Finland, with 40,000 visitors. As of July 2023, Qstock has been sold out nine times in a row. The album was produced by Simo "Jurek" Reunamäki, and it received positive reviews from critics as well as two Emma Awards. A deluxe version of the album was released on 22 April 2016, featuring three additional singles, "Party (Papiidipaadi)", "Pyydä multa anteeks kunnolla" and "Suurin fani".

The Voice of Finland is the sixth season of the Finnish reality singing competition based on The Voice format. The season premiered on Nelonen on January 6, 2017. The live final is scheduled on April 14, 2017.

Aleksi Lehikoinen, better known by his stage name Gettomasa, is a Canadian-born Finnish rapper. He won the Finnish battle rap championship in 2012. He released his debut album Vellamo LP in 2014 with Finnish music producer Ruuben. His first solo project Chosen One was released in 2016.

Finland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Dark Side" written by Aleksi Kaunisvesi, Joonas Porko, Joel Hokka, Niko Moilanen and Olli Matela. The song was performed by the band Blind Channel. The Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle) organised the national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2021 in order to select the Finnish entry for the 2021 contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Seven entries were selected to compete in the national final on 20 February 2021 where the combination of votes from seven international jury groups and votes from the public selected "Dark Side" performed by Blind Channel as the winner.

On October 10, 2019, it was certified platinum after being streamed 20 million times.
