Steven Jackson American football player (born 1983)

Steven Rashad Jackson is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, primarily with the St. Louis Rams. He played college football at Oregon State and was selected in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Rams, where he spent his first eight seasons. In his final four seasons, he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots. Named to three Pro Bowls during his Rams tenure, Jackson is the franchise's all-time leading rusher.

The Georgetown Hoyas football team represents Georgetown University in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision level of college football. Like other sports teams from Georgetown, the team is named the Hoyas, which derives from the chant, Hoya Saxa. They play their home games at Cooper Field on the Georgetown University campus in Washington, D.C. Their best season in the recent era was produced in 2011 when the team, which was led by the Class of 2012, produced an 8-3 record.

The 1872 college football season is considered to be the third season ever played of intercollegiate football competition, due to no season taking place in 1871. Much like in the first and second years, 1869 and 1870, the rules were still considered in flux, and were decided on in a game-to-game basis. However, the rules used likely did not resemble anything that a modern football observer would recognize, being that of a mix of soccer and rugby.

Davis. Isaac H. Lionberger was the team's captain.

JaCoby Stevens is an American football American football linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU.

The Union Club of Columbia football team was a football club composed of Columbia College students and alumni that operated from 1886 to 1887. It was the only school-related football team in 1886 after the varsity of Columbia was on hiatus from 1885 to 1888. Very little is known about the Union Club, its relation to Columbia College, and its reason for establishment and dissolution.
