Roy Kehl Thomas was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach. He was the seventh head football coach at Fairmount College—now known as Wichita State University—located in Wichita, Kansas and he held that position for three seasons, from 1909 until 1911. His record at Fairmount was 15–8–2. The 1911 team finished the season with a record of 7–1. They were declared the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference champions. Thomas coached the football team at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1913.

Elvin John "Al" Cassell was an American football and basketball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan from 1926 to 1929, and Jamestown College—now known as the University of Jamestown—in Jamestown, North Dakota, from 1930 to 1946 and again from 1951 to 1953. His football record at Jamestown was 65–49–13. Cassell was also the athletic director and head basketball coach at Jamestown from 1930 to 1964.

The Olivet Comets football program represents Olivet College in college football at the NCAA Division III level. Olivet has been a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association since its founding in 1888.

The 1906 Maryland Aggies football team represented Maryland Agricultural College in the 1906 college football season. In their second and final season under head coach Fred K. Nielsen, the Aggies compiled a 5–3 record and were outscored by all opponents, 98 to 73. Coach Nielsen had a full-time job with the State Department while coaching football.

The Comets play in the MIAA and played their home games at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet, Michigan. Olivet was led by Dan Pifer, who was in his fourth season.

The 2016 Olivet Comets football team, sometimes known as Team 116 in reference to the 116th season the Olivet football program had fielded a team, was an American football team that represented Olivet College during the 2016 NCAA Division III football season. The Comets play in the MIAA and played their home games at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet, Michigan. Olivet was led by Dan Pifer, who was in his fifth and final season with the Comets, as he would be hired by the Walsh University football team of the G-MAC to become their new head coach in December 2016. In January 2017, offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator Dan Musielewicz was hired as the new head coach for the Comets.

The 1907 Central Michigan Normalites football team represented Central Michigan Normal School, later renamed Central Michigan University, as an independent during the 1907 college football season. Football was reinstated after one year's absence, and Ralph Thacker, who had played fullback for Olivet College the prior year, was named coach of the football team. Bruce Stickles was selected as the team captain. Although the Central Michigan football media guide reports that the 1907 football team compiled a 2–4 record, including a loss to Alma College, the contemporaneous newspaper report on the Alma game reports it as a victory for Central by a 13 to 0 score. Accordingly, it appears that the correct record of the 1907 football team was 3–3.
