The 1914 UCI Track Cycling World Championships were the world championship for track cycling. They took place in Ordrup near Copenhagen, Denmark, on 2 August 1914. [1] One event for men was contested; more events were scheduled but were canceled because World War I had started, and contestants rushed home. [2]

The UCI Track Cycling World Championships are the set of world championship events for the various disciplines and distances in track cycling. They are regulated by the Union Cycliste Internationale. Before 1900, they were administered by the UCI's predecessor, the International Cycling Association (ICA).
Leonard "Leon" Lewis Meredith was a British track and road racing cyclist who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics, in the 1912 Summer Olympics, and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He won seven world championships and set up one of Britain's largest cycle-parts companies and ran a roller-skating rink and ballroom.
The UCI Track Cycling World Championships – Men's scratch is the world championship scratch race held annually at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. It was first held at the 2002 championships in Ballerup, near Copenhagen, Denmark. As of 2011, the event has had two two-time winners, Franco Marvulli of Switzerland in 2002 and 2003 and Alex Rasmussen of Denmark in 2004 and 2010.

2021 UEC European Track Championships was the twelfth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Tissot Velodrome in Grenchen, Switzerland, from 5 to 9 October 2021. Originally it was supposed to be held in Minsk, Belarus, between 23 and 27 June 2021 as an elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling On 27 May 2021 the Management Board of the European Cycling Union decided to cancel the 2021 Elite Track European Championships scheduled in Minsk in June 2021.
