Olivija Baleišytė is a Lithuanian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Aromitalia–Basso Bikes–Vaiano. Representing Lithuania at international competitions, Baleišytė competed at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the elimination race and individual pursuit events. In 2020 Baleišytė was awarded the Lithuanian Cycling Federation title for Lithuanian female cyclist of the year.

The event took place at the Velodromo Attilio Pavesi in Fiorenzuola d'Arda, Italy from 8 to 13 October 2020.

The 2022 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships were the annual Junior World Championship for track cycling hold at Tel Aviv, Israel from 23 to 27 August 2022.

Dylan Bibic is a Canadian professional road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Israel Premier Tech Academy. He notably won the scratch race at the 2022 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, the first Canadian to win gold in the event, in his world championship debut. He had previously won the men's points race at the UCI Junior Track World Championships.
