Harrie Lavreysen (born 14 March 1997) is a Dutch track cyclist who competes in sprint events. He is a five-time Olympic gold medalist, having won the sprint and team sprint event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and adding the sprint, the team sprint and the keirin titles at the 2024 Summer Olympics. [1] He has won 16 World Championship titles, including six titles in the team sprint (2018–2021, 2023-2024), six consecutive titles in the individual sprint (2019–2024), three in the keirin (2020–2022), as well as one (2024) in the 1km time trial, making him the most successful track cyclist at World Championships of all time. His international debut was at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team sprint event. [2] He has since won 12 European Track Championship titles.

Matthew Richardson is a track cyclist who represented Australia until August 2024 and is due to compete for Great Britain from September 2024 onwards. He competed in the men's keirin, individual sprint and team sprint at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. His most successful event was the team sprint, where the Australians came fourth. He also competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, again in the keirin, individual sprint and the team sprint. Here he placed second in the sprint and keirin, missing out on gold in both to Dutch rider Harrie Lavreysen. The Australian team also placed third in the team sprint.

Born in Russia, he and his family moved to Israel, and he represents Israel internationally. He won the bronze medal in the keirin event at the 2021 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, and bronze medals in Sprint in the 2021 European Championship, and in the 2024 European Championship. In 2022 Yakovlev set a new unofficial world record in the 200m flying trial in 9.099 seconds.
