The men's singles was one of five events of the 1921 World Hard Court Championships tennis tournament held in Paris, France from 28 May until 5 June 1921. The draw consisted of 47 players. William Laurentz was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals. Bill Tilden became the first American to win the Championship after beating Jean Washer of Belgium in the final.

Defending champion Bill Tilden defeated Wallace Johnson in the final, 6–1, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1921 U.S. National Championships. It was Tilden's second U.S. Championships singles title and fourth major singles title overall. Tilden became the first male tennis player to win four consecutive major singles events.

Lenglen had won the tournament in 1914 and would win the next two editions in 1922 and 1923 as well.
