The 1924 Estonian Football Championship was the fourth top-division football league season in Estonia, organized by the Estonian Football Association. It was played as a knock-out tournament. VS Sport Tallinn won the championship for the third time in four years.

The 1921 Estonian Football Championship was the first football league season in Estonia. It was played as a knock-out tournament between September 25 and October 13. Four teams took part in the competition – three from Tallinn and one from Narva. All the games were played at Tiigiveski Ground in Tallinn and refereed by Alexander McKibbin. Top scorer was Heinrich Paal with 3 goals, followed by Vladimir Tell and Oskar Üpraus with two. VS Sport Tallinn won 5–3 against Tallinna Jalgpalli Klubi and thus became the first ever champions of Estonia.

The 1922 Estonian Football Championship was the second football league season in Estonia. It was played as a knock-out tournament between October 10 and October 29. Four teams took part in the competition – three from Tallinn and one from Narva. All the games were played at Wismari Stadium in Tallinn. The semi-finals were refereed by Alexander McKibbin, the final by August Silber. Top scorer was Oskar Üpraus from Sport with 4 goals. VS Sport Tallinn defended their title and won 4–2 against ESS Kalev Tallinn.

Each team played every opponent twice, one at home and once on the road, for total of 10 games. VS Sport Tallinn successfully defended their title, winning the league for the eight time in the club's history.

The Estonian Top Division 1944 was the 23rd football league season in Estonia. First round was scheduled from 21 May to 12 July. Second round from 20 July to 15 August. The season was discontinued after 7 rounds due to the Red Army attack. The front had reached Estonia on January and the battles on Estonian territory lasted until December. The system and majority of the clubs existing before were discontinued.
