Futboll Klub Partizani, or FK Partizani for short, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's current temporary home ground is Arena Kombëtare and the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex.

Klubi I Futbollit Vllaznia Shkodër, commonly known as Vllaznia is an Albanian football club based in the city of Shkodër. Llazar (Zai) Fundo was an Albanian Communist, later social-democratic journalist and writer. He was a former member of the Comintern and the Balkan Communist Federation. He was associated with the Fan S. Noli government in 1924 and became the leader of the Bashkimi organization after the death of Avni Rustemi in 1924. In 1928 he helped establish the Korçë Communist Group. In the fierce rivalry for power control within the Communist Party, he was branded a Trotskyist and purged from the party.
Beqir Balluku was an Albanian politician, military leader, and Minister of Defense of Albania. Balluku assisted Enver Hoxha in carrying out the 1956 purge within the Party of Labour. However, in 1974, Balluku himself, along with a group of other government members was accused by Hoxha of an attempted coup d'état against the Albanian People's Republic. He was executed the next year.
The 1929–31 Balkan Cup was the competition's first edition. Four teams participated: Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia, and Bulgaria. Romania won the trophy ahead of second placed Yugoslavia. Greece came third and Bulgaria was last. The best goalscorers were Bodola and Wetzer, both from Romania and with 7 goals each. Albania had registered for the tournament, but retired before the beginning and did not participate.
1938–39 Albanian Cup, named King's Cup in honour of King Zog I of Albania, was the first season of Albania's annual cup competition. This competition consisted in a double round-robin system with a broad participation of three divisions and six groups. 3 teams took part in the main group and played for Cup winner: Tirana, Vllaznia and Besa. It started on December 11, 1938, and ended on January 22, 1939.

The winners of the competition qualified for the 1990-91 first round of the UEFA Cup. Dinamo Tirana were the defending champions, having won their eleventh Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Dinamo Tirana.

Zyber Lisi is an Albanian former football player who played for both Sportklub Tiranë and Partizani Tirana between 1937 and 1954. He was considered to be one of the best forwards in Albania following the departure of Riza Lushta to Bari in Italy.
