The 1975 Australian Sports Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title open to Group A Sports Cars and Group D Production Sports Cars. [1] The championship was contested over a single race staged at the Phillip Island circuit in Victoria, Australia on 30 November 1975. [2] The race was run over 30 laps of the 4.76 km circuit, a total race distance of 143 km. [2] It was the seventh Australian Sports Car Championship, and the only one in the twenty-year history of the title to be contested over a single race rather than over a series of races. [3]

Garrie Clifford Cooper was the founder of the highly successful Elfin Sports Cars and a competitive racing driver in his own right, winning the 1968 Singapore Grand Prix, the 1968 Australian 1½ Litre Championship, and the 1975 Australian Sports Car Championship - all in Elfin cars of his own design.

The championship was contested over a single, 34 lap, 76.5 mile (123 km) race at the Warwick Farm circuit in New South Wales, Australia on 19 September 1965. It was the second Australian Formula 2 Championship to be awarded.

The 1986 Australian Sports Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title for drivers of Group A Sports Cars. It was the 18th Australian Sports Car Championship.

1962 Australian Formula Junior Championship

The 1962 Australian Formula Junior Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title open to Formula Junior racing cars. The championship was contested over a single 30 lap, 60 km race, staged at the Catalina Park circuit at Katoomba in New South Wales, Australia on 28 October 1962. The title, which was the inaugural Australian Formula Junior Championship, was won by Frank Matich, driving an Australian built Elfin.

The 1972 Australian Formula 2 Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title open to racing cars complying with Australian Formula 2. It was the sixth Australian Formula 2 Championship. The title was won by Larry Perkins driving an Elfin 600B/E Ford.

The 1974 Australian Sports Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned Australian motor racing title open to Group A Sports Cars and Group D Production Sports Cars. The title, which was the sixth Australian Sports Car Championship, was won by Henry Michell driving an Elfin 360 Repco.

1964 Australian Tourist Trophy

The 1964 Australian Tourist Trophy was a motor race staged at the Longford Circuit in Tasmania, Australia on 29 February 1964. It was the eighth annual Australian Tourist Trophy race. The race was open to sports cars as defined by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) in its Appendix C regulations, and it was recognized by CAMS as the Australian championship for sports cars. It was won by Frank Matich driving a Lotus 19B.

The 1976 Australian Tourist Trophy was a motor race staged at the Phillip Island circuit in Victoria, Australia on 21 November 1976. It was open to Group A Sports Cars and was recognized by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport as an Australian national title. The race, which was the fourteenth Australian Tourist Trophy, was won by Stuart Kostera of Western Australia, driving an Elfin MS7.
