Shafa Baku FK, was an Azerbaijani football club from Baku. They were founded in 1998, and were promoted to the Top League the same year. In 2001 the club won the Azerbaijan Cup, beating Neftchi Baku 2–1 in the final. During the 2001–02 season they played their home games in Buzovna and finished in second place during the regular season. However, they finished bottom of the "Championship ground" round.
The 1978 Edmonton Eskimos finished in 1st place in the Western Conference with a 10–4–2 record and won the 66th Grey Cup. It was Warren Moon's rookie season, and he replaced the injured Bruce Lemmerman as the backup quarterback and completed 89 of 173 passes for 1,112 yards and five touchdowns. He was Edmonton's nominee for the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award.
The Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the most outstanding men's basketball player in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The award was first given following the 1967–68 season. Four players have won the award multiple times: Tom Kozelko, Ron Harper, Gary Trent and Bonzi Wells. Trent is the only player to have been honored as player of the year three times (1993–95). There have been no ties, nor has any player from the MAC ever won any of the national player of the year awards.

The Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Tournament is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the Colonial Athletic Association. The tournament has been held every year since at least 1980; for the 1979-80 to 1984-85 seasons the conference was known as the ECAC South. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner, declared conference champion, receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA basketball tournament.
Suzi Yoonessi is an Iranian-American filmmaker living in Los Angeles, CA. She wrote and directed the award-winning feature film Dear Lemon Lima, and directed the Duplass Brothers film Unlovable and Daphne and Velma for Warner Brothers. Yoonessi's short films No Shoulder and Dear Lemon Lima are distributed by Shorts International and Vanguard Cinema and her documentary film Vern is distributed by National Film Network and is in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
The Hockey collégial féminin RSEQ is an amateur women's ice hockey league in Quebec, Canada. The former name of the League was Ligue de hockey féminin collégial AA. In autumn 2011, the names of different Leagues by letters AA and A within the Quebec Student Sports Federation are changed ·. The Hockey collégial féminin RSEQ is considered to be the highest level of young women's ice hockey in the Quebec collegiate system. The league has a wide range of talent from pre-university programs and is sanctioned by Hockey Quebec and the Quebec Student Sports Federation.
The Chinese FA Super Cup, formerly named Chinese Football Super Cup, is a pre-season football competition held before the season begins in China. It is a Chinese football championship contested by the winners of top division of Professional League and the FA Cup last season. If both teams are the same, the opponent is the runners-up of league last season. It is the Chinese equivalent to the English FA Community Shield, in which the winners of the Premier League and FA Cup compete for the trophy. It was created in 1995 but was not held between 2004 and 2011.
