The 1985–86 Cypriot Third Division was the 15th season of the Cypriot third-level football league. APEP FC won their 1st title.

Association football team field sport

Format

Fourteen teams participated in the 1985–86 Cypriot Third Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The first three teams were promoted to 1986–87 Cypriot Second Division.

The 1986–87 Cypriot Second Division was the 32nd season of the Cypriot second-level football league. APEP FC won their 1st title.

Point system

Teams received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss.

<i>Phileleftheros</i> largest newspaper in Cyprus

Phileleftheros is the largest newspaper in Cyprus, with about 26,000 copies daily (2002). Established in 1955, it is also the oldest Greek-language daily newspaper in circulation on the island. Other daily newspapers published in Cyprus include Politis,Simerini, Haravgi, and Alithia.

Haravgi is a Greek language newspaper published in Cyprus since 1956. It is one of the largest newspapers on the island and is affiliated to AKEL, the Progressive Party of Working People. Haravgi reports daily on political developments –both locally and internationally, financial issues, sports, culture, environment, entertainment etc. Its Sunday edition is highly regarded for its reviews on culture and new technologies while its Monday edition is mainly sports oriented. Once a month it includes a youth magazine given at no extra cost.
