The Eurovision Song Contest 1964 was the 9th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, following the country's victory at the 1963 contest with the song "Dansevise" by Grethe and Jørgen Ingmann. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR), the contest was held at Tivolis Koncertsal on 21 March 1964, and was hosted by Danish TV presenter Lotte Wæver.
The Eurovision Song Contest 1988 was the 33rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 30 April 1988 in the RDS Simmonscourt Pavilion in Dublin, Ireland and presented by Pat Kenny and Michelle Rocca. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Radio Telefís Éireann (RTÉ), the contest was held in Ireland following the country's victory at the 1987 contest with the song "Hold Me Now" by Johnny Logan.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2001 was the 46th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, following the country's victory at the 2000 contest with the song "Fly on the Wings of Love" by Olsen Brothers. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), the contest was held at the Parken Stadium on 12 May 2001. The contest was presented by Danish television presenter Natasja Crone Back and actor Søren Pilmark.
DR, officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union.
Denmark was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 with the song "This Time I Mean It", written by Ebbe Ravn, and performed by Trine Jepsen and Michael Teschl. The Danish participating broadcaster, Danmarks Radio (DR), organised the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 1999 in order to select its entry for the contest. The broadcaster returned to the contest after a one-year absence following their relegation from 1998 as one of the six entrants with the least total average points over the preceding five contests.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song "Na jastuku za dvoje" (На јастуку за двоје), composed by Dragan Mijatović, with lyrics by Ružica Čavić, and performed by Maja Tatić. The Bosnian-Herzegovinian participating broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PBSBiH), organised the national final BH Eurosong 2002 in order to select its entry for the contest. Sixteen entries participated during the show on 23 February 2002 where the winner was determined over two rounds of voting. The top four entries in the first round selected by an eight-member jury advanced to the second round, during which "Na jastuku za dvoje" performed by Maja Tatić was selected as the winner.
Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with the song "Addicted to You", composed by Maki Kolehmainen, with lyrics by Janina Frostell and Tracy Lipp, and performed by Laura. The Finnish participating broadcaster, Yleisradio (Yle), organised the national final Euroviisut 2002 to select its entry for the contest. The broadcaster returned to the contest after a one-year absence following their relegation from 2001 as one of the bottom six entrants in 2000. Yle selected twelve entries to compete in the national final on 26 January 2002 where votes from six regional juries first selected the top six to advance to a second round. In the second round, votes from the public selected "Addicted to You" performed by Laura as the winner with 70,580 votes.
Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 with the song "Stad i ljus", written by Py Bäckman, and performed by Tommy Körberg. The Swedish participating broadcaster, Sveriges Television (SVT), selected its entry through Melodifestivalen 1988. Körberg had already represented Sweden in 1969. This was the first Swedish entry in the eighties that was a ballad.
Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the song "Se på mig", composed by Håkan Almqvist and Bobby Ljunggren, with lyrics by Ingela "Pling" Forsman, and performed by Jan Johansen. The Swedish participating broadcaster, Sveriges Television (SVT), selected its entry through Melodifestivalen 1995.
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "All Night Long" written by Jacob Launbjerg, Svend Gudiksen and Nis Bøgvad. The song was performed by Simon Mathew. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2008 in order to select the Danish entry for the 2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia. The national selection consisted of two televised semi-finals, a radio wildcard selection and a televised final. In the final, the winner was selected by regional televoting. "All Night Long" performed by Simon Mathew was the winner after gaining the most votes.
The Netherlands was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song "Hemel en aarde", written by Eric van Tijn and Jochem Fluitsma, and performed by Edsilia Rombley. The Dutch participating broadcaster, Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (NOS), selected its entry for the contest through Nationaal Songfestival 1998. Eight entries competed in the national final on 8 March 1998 where "Hemel en aarde" performed by Edsilia Rombley was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from an eight-member jury panel and a public vote.
Denmark was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the song "Fly on the Wings of Love", written by Jørgen Olsen, and performed by the Olsen Brothers. The Danish participating broadcaster, Danmarks Radio (DR), organised the national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2000 in order to select its entry for the contest. Ten songs competed in a televised show where "Smuk som et stjerneskud" performed by the Olsen Brothers was the winner as decided upon through two rounds of jury voting and public voting. The song was later translated from Danish to English for Eurovision and was titled "Fly on the Wings of Love". The entry eventually won the contest.

The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012 in order to select the Danish entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Nine songs competed in a televised show where "Should've Known Better" performed by Soluna Samay was the winner as decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting over two rounds.
Lukas Forchhammer is a Danish-Irish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and former actor. He is best known as the lead singer and multi-instrumentalist for the Danish band Lukas Graham. As a child, Forchhammer starred in the Danish family movie series Krummerne.

The song was performed by Emmelie de Forest. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2013 in order to select the Danish entry for the 2013 contest in Malmö, Sweden. Ten songs competed in a televised show where "Only Teardrops" performed by Emmelie de Forest was the winner as decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting over two rounds.

Ovens, Daniel Lund Jørgensen, Katrine Klith Andersen, Søren Bregendal, Johannes Nymark and Martin Skriver. The song was performed by the group Lighthouse X. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final Melodi Grand Prix 2016 in order to select the Danish entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Ten songs competed in a televised show where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. The results of the first round were decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting while in the second round, the winner was selected solely by public televoting. "Soldiers of Love" performed by Lighthouse X was the winner after gaining 42% of the public vote.
