The 1992 AFC Youth Championship was held from September 25 to October 10, 1992, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament was won by for the second time by Saudi Arabia in the final against Korea Republic. [1]

The 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup knockout stage began on 20 August 2019 and ended on 21 August 2021 with the final at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, to decide the champions of the 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup. A total of 32 teams competed in the knockout stage.

The third round of AFC matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 2 September 2021 to 29 March 2022.

The Abraham Accords are bilateral agreements on Arab–Israeli normalization signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and between Israel and Bahrain on September 15, 2020. Mediated by the United States, the announcement of August 13, 2020, concerned Israel and the Emirates before the subsequent announcement of an agreement between Israel and Bahrain on September 11, 2020. On September 15, 2020, the signing of the agreements was hosted by US president Trump on the Truman Balcony of the White House amid elaborate staging intended to evoke the signings of historic formal peace treaties in prior administrations.

Expo 2030 is an upcoming World Expo organised and sanctioned by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will take place for five months during the second half of 2030 and the beginning of 2031. The opening ceremony is scheduled for to be held on 1 October 2030 and the closing is scheduled for 31 March 2031. Riyadh will be the second Arab city to host the Expo after Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2020.
