The 1993-94 FIBA Women's European Champions Cup was the 36th edition of the competition. It was won by the Ginnastica Comense for the first time against Popular Basquet Godella, who couldn't defend the title for a second time, in a replay of the past season's final match. [1] Format changes were introduced for this edition.

Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Ginnastica Comense 1872 is an Italian multisports club from Como with athletics, basketball, fencing and gymnastics sections. It is best known for its women's basketball team, also known as Pool Comense 1872.

Ros Casares Valencia

Ros Casares Godella was a professional women's basketball team based in Godella, Spain. It played in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto between 1996 and 2012, when it resigned to play in EuroLeague and Spanish League. It continued playing in Primera División Femenina, third tier of Spanish women's basketball, until 2014 when the club was integrated in Valencia Basket as its women's section.

The 1993 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1993, was the 28th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship, held by FIBA Europe. It was held in Germany between 22 June and 4 July 1993. Sixteen national teams entered the event under the auspices of FIBA Europe, the sport's regional governing body. The cities of Berlin, Karlsruhe and Munich hosted the tournament. Hosts Germany won their first FIBA European title by defeating Russia with a 71–70 score in the final. Germany's Chris Welp was voted the tournament's MVP. This edition of the FIBA EuroBasket tournament also served as qualification for the 1994 FIBA World Championship, giving a berth to the top five teams in the final standings.

2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship

The 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship was an international basketball competition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 8–16 August 2014. It was the third edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Cup. Sixteen national teams competed in the tournament as opposed to last edition of the tournament, where twelve national teams competed. The preliminary round action takes place in Al-Ahli Arena and Al-Wasl Arena, with the Hamdan Sports Complex hosting the final round. The EuroLeague All-Final Four Team, or FIBA SuproLeague All-Final Four Team, was an award given by Europe's premier level league, the EuroLeague, to the top five basketball players of each season's EuroLeague Final Four competition. The EuroLeague Final Four MVP, was selected among the five players of the EuroLeague All-Final Four Team. The award existed during the era in which the EuroLeague was organized by FIBA Europe. It was given for the last time by the FIBA SuproLeague, during the 2000–01 season's FIBA SuproLeague Final Four. After the Euroleague Basketball Company took over control of the EuroLeague, the award was no longer given out, and was replaced by the All-EuroLeague Team award, which was an award for the competition's whole season, up until the EuroLeague Final Four stage.

The FIBA SuproLeague Awards were the awards given out by the FIBA SuproLeague professional basketball competition, during the 2000–01 season. The league was run by FIBA Europe, which also handed out the awards.

The 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, the 18th edition of FIBA's premier international tournament for women's national basketball teams, was held in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain from 22 to 30 September 2018. This was the first edition to use the name of FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. After the last edition in 2014, FIBA changed the name of the competition from the FIBA World Championship for Women, in order to align its name with that of the corresponding men's competition.

The 2018 FIBA European Championship for small countries was the 16th edition of this tournament. It was hosted by San Marino.

The 2018 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup was the fourth edition of the 3x3 Europe Championships, organized by FIBA Europe, and was held between 14 and 16 September 2018, in the city's Metropolitan Circus in Bucharest, Romania. This 3x3 basketball competition featured separate tournaments for men's and women's national teams. This was the third time that Bucharest had hosted the championships, after the 2014 FIBA Europe 3x3 Championships at the University Square and the 2016 FIBA Europe 3x3 Championships within the AFI Cotroceni shopping mall.
