Play-off round

The Play-off Round featured only LFPB and Copa Simón Bolívar teams from the First and Second tiers of the Bolivian football league system. The matches were played on 24 January 1996 and end 7 February. There were two replays, with four ties requiring a penalty shootout to settle them.

The 1997 Copa America was the 38th edition of the Copa America. It was held in Bolivia from 11 to 29 June. It was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body.

The Apertura tournament started on March 6 and finished on June 13. The Clausura tournament was played between August and December. Bolívar and Wilstermann will be defending the championships obtained in the 2006 annual season.

The tournament began on January 18, 2009 and culminate on February 4 of that year.

In the 2000 final occurred an incident when Guabira was losing 0-2 La Barra Brava of Guabira throw a lot of firework to The Strongest team and also the referee. Iberoamericana and Real Santa Cruz withdrawn from this tournament.

The 2002 Copa Bolivia was the last Copa Bolivia. Only teams from 2nd division played in the qualifying round. The tournament was replaced in the following year with the Copa Aerosur.

The 1995 Copa Libertadores group stage or 1995 Copa Libertadores first stage was played from 8 February to 20 April 1995. A total of 20 teams competed in the group stage to decide 15 places in the final stages of the 1995 Copa Libertadores, where they joined defending champions Vélez Sarsfield.

The 1975 Copa Libertadores group stage or 1975 Copa Libertadores first stage was played from 16 February to 11 April 1975. A total of 20 teams competed in the group stage to decide 5 places in the semi-finals of the 1975 Copa Libertadores, where they joined Independiente, who qualified directly to the semi-finals as defending champions.
