Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto is a multisports club from Luanda, Angola. The club, founded August 1, 1977, is attached to the Angolan armed forces, which is its main sponsor. Its main team competes in men's football, and its professional basketball team is also noteworthy within the club. The club's colors are red and black. The club won its first title in football, the Angolan League, in 1979. and in basketball in 1980. Handball and Volleyball have also won many titles to the club.

Atlético Petróleos de Luanda, best known as Petro Atlético de Luanda, or simply Petro Atlético or Petro de Luanda, is a traditional football club from Luanda, Angola, founded in 1980. The club won its first title, the Angolan League, in 1982 and is the most successful team in the country.

Sport Huambo e Benfica, originally Sport Nova Lisboa e Benfica or Benfica de Nova Lisboa, later renamed as Sport Huambo e Benfica or Benfica do Huambo or Mambroa, is a football club from Huambo, Angola. The club was established as the then Nova Lisboa affiliate of S.L. Benfica of Portugal, and shares the same colours. The logo is also very similar to the Portuguese one.

Estrela Clube Primeiro de Maio association football club

Estrela Clube Primeiro de Maio, usually known simply as Primeiro de Maio or 1º de Maio, is a football (soccer) club from Benguela, Angola. The club was the result of a merger from two clubs: Estrela Vermelha de Benguela and Grupo Desportivo 1º de Maio being then named África Têxtil 1º de Maio de Benguela due to its then major sponsor, a Benguela-based textile factory called África Têxtil. Shortly afterwards, the name was changed to its present denomination. In its golden years, in the 1980s, the club has won two Angolan leagues, three Angolan cups and one Angolan supercup (1985). Moreover, Primeiro de Maio became in 1994, the first Angolan club to reach the final of a CAF competition and to win the Angola Cup and the Angola Super Cup.

Zé Neli of Petro do Huambo finished as the top scorer with 12 goals.

Atlético Petróleos do Huambo

Atlético Petróleos do Huambo or simply Petro do Huambo is an Angolan football club based in Huambo. The club was established in 1980 as a result of a merger between Atlético de Nova Lisboa and Desportivo Sonangol. They are currently playing their home games at the Estádio Mártires da Canhala.

Clube Nacional de Benguela sports club

Clube Nacional de Benguela, founded on June 24, 1920, as Sports Clube Portugal de Benguela or simply Portugal de Benguela, is a sports club from Benguela, Angola. The Elephants won five titles during the then overseas province of Angola. Even before Angola's independence in 1975, the club's name was changed to Sports Club Nacional de Benguela. In 1979, the club, then Clube Nacional de Benguela, was one of the founders of Angola's premier football league (Girabola), in which season it finished as the runner-up by losing to Primeiro de Agosto 2–1 in the final.

Futebol Clube de Cabinda is a football club based in Cabinda, Angola. The club was created as an affiliate to F.C. Porto and uses the same colours.

Kabuscorp S.C.P. association football club

Kabuscorp Sport Clube do Palanca, usually known simply as Kabuscorp is a multisports club based in Luanda, Angola. The club's football teams contests at the Angolan major league Girabola as well as at the African club competitions.
