Daniele Bracciali and Jocelyn Robichaud were the defending champions, but both turned 18 years old during the season and, therefore, were unable to compete in Juniors.

Luis Horna and Nicolás Massú defeated Jaco van der Westhuizen and Wesley Whitehouse in the final, 6–4, 6–2 to win the boys' doubles tennis title at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships. [1] It was the 2nd Grand Slam title for Horna and the 1st Grand Slam title for Massú in their respective junior doubles careers.

Nicolás Alejandro Massú Fried, nicknamed El Vampiro, is a Chilean former professional tennis player. A former world No. 9 in singles, he won the singles and doubles gold medals at the 2004 Athens Olympics. He is the only man to have won both gold medals at the same Games since the re-introduction of Olympic tennis in 1988, and they are Chile's only two Olympic gold medals. Massú also reached the final of the 2003 Madrid Masters and won six singles titles. He was the coach of 2020 US Open champion and former world No. 3 Dominic Thiem from 2019 to 2023.

Luis Horna Biscari is a former tour professional tennis player from Peru, who turned professional in 1998. Known by his nickname "Lucho", he won 2 career singles titles, reached the quarterfinals of the 2004 Madrid Masters and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 33 in August 2004.

The 1997 Wimbledon Championships was a tennis tournament played on grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London in the United Kingdom. It was the 111th edition of the Wimbledon Championships and was held from 23 June to 6 July 1997.

Defending champion Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick in the final, 4–6, 7–5, 7–6(7–3), 6–4 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2004 Wimbledon Championships. It was his second Wimbledon title and his third major title overall. This tournament marked the beginning of Federer's record streak of 23 consecutive major semifinals and 36 consecutive major quarterfinals.

Stephen Huss and Wesley Moodie were the defending champions but lost in the third round to Simon Aspelin and Todd Perry.

Jonas Björkman and Todd Woodbridge were the two-time defending champions but did not play together. Björkman partnered with Max Mirnyi and Woodbridge partnered with Mahesh Bhupathi but both pairs lost to Stephen Huss and Wesley Moodie, in the semifinals and the second round respectively.

José Acasuso was the defending champion, but chose not to participate this year.

Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjić defeated Jonas Björkman and Kevin Ullyett in the final, 7–6(14–12), 6–7(3–7), 6–3, 6–3, to win the gentlemen's doubles title at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships. With the win, Nestor completed the career Grand Slam and the career Super Slam.

Gustavo Kuerten was the defending champion but lost in the first round to Agustín Calleri.

Magnus Norman was the defending champion, but did not compete this year.

Mariano Puerta was the defending champion, but did not participate this year.

Jocelyn Robichaud is a former tour professional tennis player. Robichaud captured three junior Grand Slam titles and played Davis Cup for Canada. More of a doubles specialist, he won three Challenger events in doubles and reached a career-high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 119.

Jonathan Marray and Frederik Nielsen were the defending champions, but decided not to play together. Marray played alongside Colin Fleming but lost to Robert Lindstedt and Daniel Nestor in the third round. Nielsen paired with Grigor Dimitrov but they lost to Julien Benneteau and Nenad Zimonjić in the second round.

Luis Horna and Nicolás Massú were the defending champions, but both players turned 18 years old during the season and, therefore, were not eligible to compete in Juniors.

Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions, but none competed this year as both were playing for Stanford University during this season.

Martin Lee and James Trotman were the defending champions, but Trotman did not compete. Lee played with David Sherwood but lost in the semifinals to Damien Roberts and Wesley Whitehouse.

Wesley Whitehouse defeated Daniel Elsner in the final, 6–3, 7–6(8–6) to win the boys' singles tennis title at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships.

Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić defeated Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the final, 6–4, 7–6(7–5), 2–6, 7–5 to win the gentlemen's doubles title at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. It was their eighth title of the season, with Mektić winning his maiden major doubles title and Pavić winning his third. They became the first Croatian pair to win the title.
