The 1999 ANFA National League Cup was a domestic cup association football competition organised by the All Nepal Football Association. It was held on 20 November to 30 November 1999, and was called the 1999 ANFA Coca-Cola National League Cup for sponsorship reasons. [1]
The winners of the ANFA League Cup qualify for the 1998–99 Asian Cup Winners' Cup. [2]
Champion of each district advances to second round. Unlike other districts, Kathmandu Valley teams participated in a qualifying group stage tournament.

23 teams qualified from the first round compete to secure a berth into the third round. Clubs are separated based on their districts, and grouped further (apart from the Kathmandu district. All teams qualified into the second round from Kathmandu Valley were given an automatic bye into the fourth round, however a sub knockout tournament was played to determine third round fixtures (the winner being placed on fourth round group A, runner up placed on fourth round group B.

The finals of the 1999 ANFA National League Cup saw a Departmental Derby between long-term rivals Mahendra Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is the governing body of football in Nepal. It is responsible for the national team as well as club competitions. The organisation was founded in 1951 as the All Nepal Football Association and became affiliated with FIFA in 1972. The current President of ANFA is Pankaj Bikram Nembang. Birat Gold Cup is an annual football tournament held in Biratnagar, the second largest metropolitan city of Nepal. It has been held at the Sahid Rangsala stadium in Biratnagar, Morang, Nepal every year since 2012 A.D. The event witnesses participation from several national and international teams, and is amongst the most sought after football tournament of the nation.
The 2017 Budha Subba Gold Cup is the 19th edition of the Budha Subba Gold Cup held in Dharan and organised by Redbull. 10 teams participated in the tournament. The defending champions Manang Marshyangdi Club did not participate. All matches were held at the ANFA Technical Center Dharan-17. In total, eight teams from Nepal participated in the tournament and were joined by two teams from India. United Sikkim FC from Gangtok, India was also supposed to play in this tournament but had to withdraw due to a "technical problem". It was replaced by Kanchanjunga FC.
The 2018–19 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League season, also known as Pulsar Martyr's Memorial A-Division League for sponsorship reasons, was the 42nd edition of the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League since its establishment in 1954/55. A total of 16 teams competed in the league. The season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 8 January 2019. It was the first top division league held since the 2015 National League due to aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. On 16 September 2018, it was decided that there will be no relegation, however the two bottom placed teams would have two and one points deducted respectively in the following season.
