Nepal Army Club, also known as Tribhuwan Army Club, is the departmental army sporting club of Nepal and is based in Kathmandu. [1] In cricket they play the top domestic National League Cricket and in the Prime Minister One Day Cup, whereas in football they currently play in the top division of the country, Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. [2]

History

The departmental army team under the name of Army XI had won the fourth A-division league in 1957/58. It has placed between second to fifth position in the league in recent years. Nepal Army Club have first time received AFC Club license in the Nepali football history on 2020.

The 2011 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League season, also known as Martyrs Memorial RedBull 'B' Division League Football Tournament 2068 for sponsorship reasons, was the 2011 edition of the second-tier club football competition in Nepal. The season started on 24 August and ended on 27 September 2011. All matches were played at Nepal Police Foundation Ground.

Everest Premier League (EPL) is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal. It is the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It is played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament is renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Chitwan Tigers are the defending champions after winning the 2021 season.

A total of 16 teams competed in the league. The season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 8 January 2019. It was the first top division league held since the 2015 National League due to aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. On 16 September 2018, it was decided that there will be no relegation, however the two bottom placed teams would have two and one points deducted respectively in the following season.

The Prime Minister Cup Men's National Cricket Tournament is a domestic cricket tournament in Nepal organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal. It was formerly administered by the National Sports Council while CAN was suspended. It was played amongst 8 teams in 2017 and has been played amongst 10 teams from 2018 onward. The

Satdobato Youth Club is a Nepalese professional football club from Satdobato, Lalitpur. In 2021, the club was first promoted to play in Nepali top flight, the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League.
