Bagmati Province Football Association, (formerly known as Province No. 3 Football Association) and also known as Bagmati Province FA is a Nepali provincial football Association, based in the Bagmati Province of Nepal. It sends men's state team for National Games and women's team for National Women's League.
It organized Referee Course on regular interval of time to broaden the capacity and quality of football in the province. [1] Also, Bagmati Province organized Bagmati Province League Football championship annually. [2]
There are currently 11 district football associations affiliated with Bagmati Province Football Association.

The Nepal national football team represents Nepal in International men's football, and is governed by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). A member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the Nepali football team plays their home games at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
Dasharath Rangasala is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. It is named after Dasharath Chand, one of the four great martyrs of Nepal.
Paras Khadka is a Nepalese former cricketer who is the current Secretary of Cricket Association of Nepal and President of Bagmati Province Cricket Association. He captained the Nepalese cricket team from 2008 to 2019. An all-rounder, Khadka was a right-handed batsman, and a right-arm medium-fast as well as an off-break bowler. He made his debut against Malaysia in April 2004. Khadka played in Nepal's inaugural One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. He is considered as the greatest cricketer of Nepal.
The Nepal women's national football team is controlled by the All Nepal Football Association and represents Nepal in international women's football competitions. The Women's Football Department has been developed to control and manage the women's football activities. The official motto of women's football in Nepal is "Football for Change". It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation and the South Asian Football Federation and has yet to qualify for the World Cup.
Halchowk Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kathmandu in Bagmati Province of Nepal. The stadium holds 5,000 people.
The 2011 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League was the 39th season of the A-Division League since its establishment in 1954/55. A total of 18 teams competed in the league. The season began on 28 April 2011 and concluded on 16 July 2011.
The 2013 South Asian Football Federation Championship, commonly referred to as 2013 SAFF Championship, was the 10th SAFF Championship for men's national football teams organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The tournament took place from 31 August to 11 September 2013, and was hosted by Nepal for the second time, with the previous being in 1997.

The 2021 National Women's League, also known as Deputy Mayor National Women's League was the 2021 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season started on 21 January. It was the first season since 2017/18, as the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal. APF Club was crowned champions on 17 February 2021.

Lalitpur City F.C. is a Nepali professional franchise football club based in Lalitpur, Bagmati Province. The club competes in the Nepal Super League, the top flight football league in Nepal.
The Bagmati Province cricket team, also known as Team Bagmati is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs one day and Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup and the Gautam Buddha Cup, respectively. The team is currently being run under the Cricket Association of Bagmati Province, with Rit Gautam as the team captain.
Ashmita Khadka is a Kathmandu-based Nepalese Taekwondo player. Ashmita has won numerous national championships. She was born in Kathmandu. She won a bronze medal at the 2019 South Asian Games. She started her international career winning a gold medal at the Sarawak Chief Minister Borneo cup held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia Ashmita has represented Nepal at the 2018 Asian Games held in Indonesia. Ashmita's other achievements include winning bronze at the Malaysian Open-G1 which is a WT ranked tournament. She has also won silver medal at the World University Championship held in Korea.

The 2022 National Women's League, also known as Deputy Mayor National Women's League is the ongoing 2022 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season was scheduled to start on 29 January 2022, but was postponed to March 2022. APF Club were declared the champions of the league by ANFA in 2023.

The 2024 ANFA Women's League, also known as National Women's League is the ongoing 2024 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season will scheduled to conduct 1 September to 12 October 2024.
The 2024–25 Prime Minister Cup (Women) was the tenth edition of the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven provinces of Nepal as well as two departmental teams. It began on 14 January and end on 25 January 2025. Tribhuwan Army Club made their debut in the tournament. Nine teams were divided into two groups with the top two advancing to the Super Four. All the matches were played at Fapla International Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.
