The Pokhara Cup, currently known as the Manakamana Cable Car Pokhara Cup, is an annual international football knockout tournament held in Pokhara, Nepal and is organized by ANFA Kaski. For sponsorship reasons, it was formerly also known as Safal Pokhara Cup.
The tournament was formed as the Pokhara Gold Cup in 2011. ANFA Kaski announced that it would form new subcommittees to account for the administration of the cup. [1]
The Pokhara Cup is held at the Pokhara Rangasala, a multipurpose sports venue that is frequently used for football.

Pokhara is a metropolitan city located in central Nepal, which serves as the capital of Gandaki Province and is declared as the tourism capital of Nepal. It is the second most populous city of the nation after Kathmandu, with 599,504 inhabitants living in 120,594 households as of 2021. It is the country's largest metropolitan city in terms of area. The city also serves as the headquarters of Kaski District. Pokhara is located 200 kilometres west of the capital, Kathmandu. The 2015 Budha Subba Gold Cup was the 17th edition of the Budha Subba Gold Cup held in Dharan and sponsored by Red Bull. Seven teams from Nepal and one from India participated in the tournament. All matches were held at the ANFA Technical Center Dharan. A lot of changes were made regarding the format of the tournament, the tournament took place in February as opposed to April, when it previously took place. Also, the prize money for the winning team was increased to make the tournament more attractive. Belgharia Sporting Club from Calcutta, India, who won this tournament in 1999, was also meant to join the tournament but was replaced by another Indian Team, Sikkim Sunalchu FC.
