The 2021 Prime Minister Cup was the fourth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. [1] The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 15 January 2021 and ended on 30 January 2021. [2] [3] All matches of the tournament were broadcast live by DishHome's "Action Sports" channel. [4] Nepal Police Club were the defending champions, [5] but were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Armed Police Force Club. [6] Tribhuwan Army Club won the title following a 33-run win over APF Club in the final. [7] [8]

Nepal Army Club, also known as Tribhuwan Army Club, is the departmental army sporting club of Nepal and is based in Kathmandu. In cricket they play the top domestic National League Cricket and in the Prime Minister One Day Cup, whereas in football they currently play in the top division of the country, Martyr's Memorial A-Division League.

The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 30 October 2022 and ended on 12 November 2022. Armed Police Force Club won their second title after defeating defending champions Tribhuwan Army Club in the final.
Bagmati Province cricket team, also known as Team Bagmati is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs one day and Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup and the Gautam Buddha Cup, respectively. The team is currently being run under the Cricket Association of Bagmati Province, with Rit Gautam as the team captain.
The Uganda women's cricket team toured Nepal in May 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) series. All of the matches in the series were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. These were the first women's international matches played at Kirtipur. This was also the first international cricket at the Gymkhana Club Ground for 10 years.

The 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the 21st, and last, round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in March 2023. It was a tri-nation series between Nepal, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Going into the final series of the League 2 tournament, Nepal required four wins from four games to claim the third and final automatic place in the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, at the expense of Namibia.

The format was changed for the 2023–24 season, with the eight teams competing in a round-robin format with the top four advancing to the play-offs.

Bagmati Province women's cricket team, also known as Team Bagmati is a Nepali provincial women's cricket team, based in the Bagmati Province of Nepal. The team plays Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister Women's Cup The team is currently being run under the Cricket Association of Bagmati Province, with Asmina Karmacharya as the team captain.
The 2024 Lalitpur Mayor Women's Cup was the fourth edition of the Lalitpur Mayor Women's Cup, the premier Twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament had 5 teams including Lalitpur Mayor's XI along with 4 teams that reached the semi-finals of the Prime Minister's Cup Women's T-20 National Tournament. The Lalitpur Mayor's XI team is formed from the players of remaining four provinces that did not reach the semi-finals of Prime Minister's Cup. All team play with each other's in round-robin format with top two team advancing to the finals.
