This is a list of cricket grounds in Nepal. International matches are currently played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur and Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground on the outskirts of Kathmandu. [1] [2] Women's international matches have been played at the Pokhara Rangashala in Pokhara. New grounds capable of hosting international matches are under construction in Tilottama Rupandehi, Mulpani, Kathmandu, Lamahi Dang and Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Tribhuvan University is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest and the largest university in Nepal. The college offers 1000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Additionally, the institution has 62 constituent campuses and over 1080 affiliated colleges across the country.
The Nepal men's national cricket team represents the country of Nepal in International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They have been Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1996. Butwal, officially Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, is a sub-metropolitan city and economic hub in Lumbini Province in West Nepal. Butwal has a city population of 195,054 as per the 2021 AD Nepal census.
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is the official governing body of cricket in Nepal. Its headquarters is situated in Mulpani, Kathmandu. It is Nepal's representative at the International Cricket Council and remains an associate member since 1996 AD. It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
Cricket in Nepal has gained popularity over the years and has become the country's one of the most popular and widely followed sport. It rapidly grew popularity in the mid 2010s, following the slight successes of the Nepalese cricket team as well as the country's explosive rise in social media and television viewing influence from neighboring country India. The biggest cricketing achievement of the national cricket team was when the team reached the qualification tournament of 2014 ICC World T20 held in Bangladesh. Nepal's playing season runs from September to November and starts again in March before finishing in May. As of October 2023, there were 3400 senior cricket clubs and over 35000 registered players in Nepal.
Nepal A.P.F. Club, commonly known as APF Club, is a professional sports club based in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal. The club is the sports-wing of the Armed Police Force.
Everest Premier League (EPL) is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal. It is the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It is played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament is renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Chitwan Tigers are the defending champions after winning the 2021 season.
The Mulpani Cricket Stadium, Commonly known as Lower Mulpani Cricket Ground or simply Mulpani Ground(Nepali: मुलपानी अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट रंगशाला) is a cricket ground in Mulpani, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Rubina Chhetry is a Nepali cricketer who plays for the women's national cricket team as a right-arm medium pace bowler. She is the former captain of the team appointed in 2012, when she replaced Neri Thapa. In 2009, she became the first cricketer to take a hat-trick for Nepal in an international match, and in 2019 she took Nepal's first hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I).
Fapla International Cricket Ground is located in Dhangadhi, Kailali, Nepal. It is two kilometres north of Chauraha on the bank of Mohana River in Boradadi lies Fapla with an area of 1369 sq. meter. A small part of that is being used for the ground.
2018 Dhangadhi Premier League is the second season of Dhangadhi Premier League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Nepal. The tournament started on 31 March and ended on 14 April in Dhangadhi. Team Chauraha Dhangadhi were the defending champions.

The 2021 Everest Premier League, also known as EPL4 or Bajaj Pulsar EPL for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth edition of the Everest Premier League, a professional men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal. The event was initially scheduled for December 2019, before being postponed multiple times. Lalitpur Patriots were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018, but were eliminated in the group stage after finishing fifth.
Cricket at the 2019 South Asian Games was held in Twenty20 format in Kirtipur and Pokhara, Nepal between 2 and 9 December 2019. Cricket returned to the South Asian Games after a period of nine years. The men's tournament featured under-23 squads from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and senior squads from Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal. The women's event featured teams from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal. All matches in the men's event were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Aasif Sheikh is a Nepalese cricketer, who plays as right-handed wicket-keeper-batsman. He made his debut for Nepal against the Netherlands in a Twenty20 International in April 2021.
The Uganda women's cricket team toured Nepal in May 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) series. All of the matches in the series were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. These were the first women's international matches played at Kirtipur. The series was used by Uganda as preparation for the 2022 Kwibuka Tournament.
The Nepal T20 League is a Nepalese men's Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Cricket Association of Nepal in 2022. The first edition of the tournament was held from 24 December 2022 to 11 January 2023.
The 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International cricket tournament, took place in October 2023 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament formed part of all the three teams' preparations for the Asia World Cup Qualifier.
