The 1st Indonesian Choice Awards (Official name: NET. ONE presents Indonesian Choice Awards 2014) was an annual awards ceremony held on May 18, 2014, at the Mata Elang International Stadium in Pademangan, North Jakarta. The show was hosted by Sarah Sechan and Boy William. This awards ceremony coincided with the first anniversary of the sponsor TV channel NET., entitled Net. ONE.

Mata Elang International Stadium or MEIS is an international music stadium located at Ancol Dreamland, Jakarta, Indonesia. The stadium opened in early 2012. It is located inside Ancol Beach City, a lifestyle and entertainment center. It is one of the biggest indoor stadiums in Southeast Asia.

Pademangan district in Jakarta Utara Administrative City, Indonesia

Pademangan is a subdistrict of North Jakarta, Indonesia. The area of Pademangan stretches from the Sunda Kelapa Harbor on the east to the western area of Tanjung Priok Harbor to the east. Pademangan also covers the area that was formerly known as Kemayoran Airport. Geographically, Pademangan is a low plain with average height of 75 centimeter above the sea level.

North Jakarta is not self-governed and does not have a city council, hence it is not classified as a proper municipality. It contains the entire coastal area within the Jakarta Special District. In North Jakarta, an area at the estuary of Ciliwung river was the main port for the kingdom of Tarumanegara, which later grew to become Jakarta. Many historic sites and artefacts of Jakarta can be found in North Jakarta. Both ports of Tanjung Priok and historic Sunda Kelapa are located in the city. The city, which had 1,645,312 inhabitants at the 2010 Census, has its administrative centre in Tanjung Priok.

Raisa was the biggest winner of the night, with three awards for "Female Singer of the Year", "Album of the Year" for Heart to Heart , and "Song of the Year" for "Pemeran Utama". Other winners included Fatin Shidqia, who won "Breakthrough of the Year", Superman Is Dead, who won "Group/Band/Duo of the Year", Tulus, who won "Male Singer of the Year", etc. [1]

Fatin Shidqia Lubis, better known as Fatin Shidqia or Fatin, is an Indonesian singer and actress who won the first season of the Indonesian version of The X Factor in May 2013, becoming the first of two winners to be mentored by Rossa. Fatin currently stands as one of the most successful winners of The X Factor Indonesia. She was signed to record label Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia.

Superman is Dead is a punk rock band hailing from Bali, formed in Kuta. The band has 3 members, namely Bobby Kool, Eka Rock, Jerinx (drummer).

Muhammad Tulus, better known by his mononym Tulus, is an Indonesian singer-songwriter of Minangkabau descent.

Legend of singer-songwriter, Iwan Fals, receiving the special award "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his contribution for 35 years in the world of Indonesian music.

In addition to local musician, NET. also features international musicians and artists, such as Far East Movement, Ne-Yo and Japanese comical magician Gamarjobat.

Far East Movement band

Far East Movement is an American hip hop and electronic music group based in Los Angeles. The group formed in 2003 and as of August 2018 consists of Kev Nish, Prohgress and DJ Virman. Former member, J-Splif, left the group in November 2016 due to family reasons. Their single "Like a G6", featuring pop-rap duo The Cataracs and singer Dev hit number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and on the iTunes chart in late October 2010, making them the first Asian-American group to earn a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Among their other chart toppers are: "Rocketeer" featuring Ryan Tedder of One Republic, "Turn Up the Love", and their 2012 remix to the song "Get Up (Rattle)" by the Bingo Players, also hit number one on the UK charts.

Ne-Yo American singer, songwriter and record producer from Nevada

Shaffer Chimere Smith, better known by his stage name Ne-Yo, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and dancer. He gained fame for his songwriting abilities when he penned his 2004 hit "Let Me Love You" for singer Mario. The single's successful release in the United States prompted an informal meeting between Ne-Yo and Def Jam's label head and the signing of a recording contract.

Gamarjobat are an award-winning comedy performance group comprising two Japanese comedians, Ketch!—who sports a red mohawk—and HIRO-PON—with a yellow mohawk. The duo perform a variety of sketches, including mimes and physical comedy.

Voting system

Voting for the 2014 Indonesian Choice Awards began on April 30, 2014. Members of the public could cast their votes via Twitter or Facebook. [2]

Chelsea Islan Indonesian actress

Chelsea Elizabeth Islan is an Indonesian actress. She gained public recognition in NET TV sitcom Tetangga Masa Gitu. She made her film debut in drama film Refrain (2013), later continued her acting career in several films such as Street Society (2014), Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dolar (2014), Di Balik 98 (2015), and Guru Bangsa: Tjokroaminoto (2015). The Juice TV Awards was an annual New Zealand music video award presentation held by the now defunct New Zealand music video channel Juice TV. The awards were founded in 2001 and initially honoured music videos from both New Zealand and international acts, however in 2004 the awards were limited to New Zealand artists only. 2016 Teen Choice Awards award ceremony

The 2016 Teen Choice Awards ceremony was held on July 31, 2016 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The awards celebrate the year's achievements in music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy, and the Internet, and were voted on by viewers living in the US, aged 13 and over through various social media sites. Justin Timberlake received the inaugural Decade Award. The ceremony was hosted by John Cena and Victoria Justice. This year's surfboard awards were inspired by the dress of 2015 Choice Dancer Chloe Lukasiak.

The 4th Indonesian Choice Awards ceremony, presented by the NET., honored the best entertainment of the year in 2017, and took place on May 21, 2017, at the Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor, West Java, at 7:00 p.m. WIB. During the ceremony, NET. were presented Indonesian Choice Awards in 12 categories, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 5th Indonesian Choice Awards ceremony, presented by the NET., honored the best entertainment of the year in 2018, and took place on April 29, 2018, at the Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor, West Java, at 7:00 p.m. WIB.

BET Awards 2019 2019 Awards Show

The 19th BET Awards were held on June 23, 2019 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. It is the show’s last ceremony of the 2010's. The ceremony celebrated achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies.
