Apollon Larissa Football Club is a Greek professional football club based in Filippoupoli, Larissa, Greece. The club plays in the Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of the Greek football league system. It plays its home matches at the Philippoupoli Ground.

The 1999–2000 Alpha Ethniki was the 64th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 19 September 1999 and ended on 28 May 2000. Olympiacos won their fourth consecutive and 29th Greek title.

The 1993–94 Alpha Ethniki was the 58th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 22 August 1993 and ended on 24 April 1994. AEK Athens won their third consecutive and 11th Greek title.

The 1992–93 Alpha Ethniki was the 57th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 5 September 1992 and ended on 6 June 1993. AEK Athens won their second consecutive and tenth Greek title. This was the first season in which the new points system was introduced (Win: 3 points - Draw: 1 point - Loss: 0 points), replacing the corresponding 2–1–0 and remained as it is since then.

The 1989–90 Alpha Ethniki was the 54th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 17 September 1989 and ended on 27 May 1990. Panathinaikos won their 15th Greek title and their first one in four years.

The 1988–89 Alpha Ethniki was the 53rd season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 11 September 1988 and ended on 21 May 1989. AEK Athens won their eighth Greek title and their first one in ten years.

The 1984–85 Alpha Ethniki was the 49th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 23 September 1984 and ended on 16 June 1985. PAOK won their second Greek title and their first one in nine years.

The 1958–59 Panhellenic Championship was the 23rd season of the highest football league of Greece and the last one that was held with the system of qualifying rounds per local association, as from the following year the structure of Greek football changed with the introduction of Alpha Ethniki, as well as the other categories in following seasons. Olympiacos won their 15th championship after an interesting race with AEK Athens.
