The 2003–04 English Hockey League season took place from September 2003 until May 2004.
The men's title was won by Cannock for the second consecutive year with the women's title going to Hightown. There were no playoffs to determine champions or relegation after the regular season but there was a competition for the top six clubs called the Premiership tournament which culminated in a final held at Old Loughtonians Hockey Club on 9 May. The Men's Cup was won by Reading and the Women's Cup was won by Hightown. [2]

Cannock Hockey Club are an English professional field hockey team. They were established in 1905, and are based in the village of Hatherton, near Cannock, Staffordshire. Both the men's and women's first teams play in the England Hockey League Premier Division, the top division of hockey in England.
East Grinstead Hockey Club is a professional field hockey club based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, England. It is one of the most successful clubs in the United Kingdom with National League Outdoor and Indoor honours. It was founded in 1897. The home ground is at EGSC, near Saint Hill. The home ground is based in Long Ditton, at Sugden Road. The women's team have been champions of England on nine occasions and the men's team have been champions of England three times.

It has also been known as the All England Women's Hockey Association Cup, the EHA Cup and the EH Women's Cup. During the 2010s it was sponsored by Investec and was known as the Investec Women's Cup.
