The 2004 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women was the third edition of the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women. 12 teams participated in the competition, held in Vannes, France, from 23 July to 1 August 2004. Russia won their second title.

Qualification

Twenty-three national teams entered the qualifying round. They were allocated in four groups. The first three teams from groups A, B, C and the first two teams from group D qualified for the tournament, where they joined France (qualified as hosts). [1]

In this round, the twelve teams were allocated in two groups of six teams each. The top four teams qualify for the Quarterfinals.

2010 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship

2010 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women

The 2010 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women was the 9th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women. 16 teams featured the competition, held in Liepāja and Grobiņa, in Latvia, from July 15–25. France was the current title holder. Russia won the title against Spain.

2007 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship

The 2007 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship was the 21st edition of the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. The cities of Ierapetra, Rethymno and Heraklion, in Greece, hosted the tournament. Serbia won the trophy for the first time since the dissolution of Serbia and Montenegro. Slovenia and Portugal were relegated to Division B.

The 2000 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women was the first edition of the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women. 12 teams featured the competition, held in Bardejov, Lučenec and Ružomberok, in Slovakia, from 28 July to 6 August. The team representing Russia won their first title.

The 2002 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women was the second edition of the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women. 12 teams featured the competition, held in Zagreb, Croatia, from 26 July to 4 August 2002. The Czech Republic won their first title.

2014 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship

The 2014 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship was the 31st edition of the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. 16 teams participated in the competition, held in Konya, Turkey, from 24 July to 3 August 2014. The tournament served as the qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. Turkey also successfully defended their last year's title.

The 2014 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship for Women was the 26th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship for Women. 16 teams featured in the competition, held in Debrecen, Hungary, from 31 July to 10 August 2014.

The basketball qualification for the Summer Olympics men's basketball tournament occurred from 2014 to 2016; all five FIBA zones sent in teams.
