The 2004 Formula SCCA season was the first season of the Formula SCCA Pro series. Elivan Goulart won the inaugural championship. After this season the series went on a five-year hiatus to return in 2010. All drivers competed in Cooper Tire shod, Mazda powered Van Diemen chassis.

Formula SCCA

Formula SCCA or Formula Enterprises is a class of open wheel race car sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America. A spec racing class, all chassis are produced by SCCA Enterprises in association with Van Diemen and include a sealed Mazda MZR powerplant. The chassis can also be fitted with closed-wheel bodywork and converted into a sportscar to race in C Sports Racer or the L3 class of IMSA Prototype Lites. For the 2012 season, the car was also accepted into the U.S. F2000 National Championship's National Class. According to the manufacturer's website, as of March 2010, 120 of the cars have been sold.

Mazda automotive brand manufacturer

Mazda Motor Corporation, commonly referred to as simply Mazda, is a Japanese multinational automaker based in Fuchū, Aki District, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.

Van Diemen International, Ltd. was a British race car manufacturer based in Snetterton, Norfolk, United Kingdom. The company had a reputation for high-volume production runs of its cars, the most well-known of which is its series of Formula Ford chassis, which have been at the forefront of that class of motorsport for over 20 years and led it to becoming the largest manufacturer of bespoke racing cars in the world.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is a multi-track motorsport venue located north of Bowmanville, in Ontario, Canada. The facility features a 2.459-mile (3.957 km), 10-turn road course; a 2.9 km advance driver and race driver training facility with a quarter-mile skid pad and a 1.5 km kart track. The SCCA Spec Racer Ford Pro Series was a sports car racing series in the United States. The series existed between 1994 and 2002 the series was revived for 2010 and 2011.

Richard "Rich" Zober is a racing driver who competed in various formula racing series.

Jamie Galles is a former Atlantic Championship and Trans-Am Series driver. He is also the son of Rick Galles, former team owner of Galles Racing.

The 2005 Formula Ford Zetec Cooper Tires Championship Series was the fifth the USF2000 Ford Zetec championship. Aiken Racing driver Jay Howard took the titel in a Van Diemen RF03. He was the second Brit to win the championship, after Dan Wheldon in 1999.

The 2003 Formula Ford Zetec Championship Series was the third USF2000 Ford Zetec championship. PR1 Motorsports driver Jonathan Bomarito took the titel in a Van Diemen RF03.

Bruno Bianchi is a Canadian former racing driver. Bianchi won races in Formula Ford 1600 and Formula Ford 2000. After his racing career Bianchi was an engineer at Bombardier Inc. and Bell Helicopter.

The 2017 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda will be the eighth season – since its revival in 2010 – of the U.S. F2000 National Championship, an open wheel auto racing series that is the first step in INDYCAR's Road to Indy ladder, operated by Andersen Promotions. A 14-race schedule was announced on September 14, 2016.

Jason Wolfe (racing driver)

Jason Wolfe is an American racing driver. Wolfe previously competed in single seater series such as the USF2000 championship. Currently, Wolfe competes in the German-based ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship.
