Tony Rickardsson

Tony Rickardssonsvenska is a Swedish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1989 to 2006. Rickardsson is notable for winning six Speedway World Championship titles in 15 attempts. Leigh Scott Adams is an Australian former motorcycle speedway rider. He is a multiple Speedway Grand Prix winner and World Team Champion. He also won a record 10 Australian Solo Championships, four Australian Under-21 Championships, the 1992 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship, and was the 1986 Australian Under-16 Champion.

Bjarne Pedersen Danish speedway rider

Bjarne Aagaard Pedersen is an international motorcycle speedway rider who has represented Denmark in the Speedway World Cup, winning it on two occasions: in 2006 and 2008.

The 2004 Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the 4th FIM Speedway World Cup season. The Final took place on 7 August 2004 in Poole, Great Britain. The tournament was won by Sweden and they beat host team Great Britain, Denmark and Poland in the Final.

Poole Stadium

Poole Stadium is a speedway and former greyhound racing venue located in the town centre of Poole, Dorset in England. The stadium is owned by the Borough of Poole. It was built in the early 1930s in an attempt to provide a source of entertainment to the residents of Poole during the Great Depression. It is also often referred to as Wimborne Road, which is a road that runs adjacent to the stadium. During weekdays, the stadium's large car park is used to provide parking for Poole Hospital's park and ride scheme. On 22 September 2020 the permanent closure of greyhound racing at the site was announced.

Brennan Cole Poole is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 30 Toyota Tundras for On Point Motorsports. He has raced in all of the Top 3 Division’s of NASCAR as well as the ARCA Menards Series where he has multiple wins.
