This article is about the 2007 season of the Widnes Vikings.

Deon Bird is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played at club level for Paris Saint-Germain, the Adelaide Rams, Gateshead Thunder, Hull F.C., the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, the Widnes Vikings and the Castleford Tigers, as a fullback or centre.

The Widnes Vikings competed in the Co-operative Championship in 2009. This was their first season under their new head coachPaul Cullen who replaced the outgoing Steve McCormack. Under Cullen's stewardship, Widnes managed to advance to the final of the Northern Rail Cup and ultimately won the cup, ensuring the club could apply for Super League membership in 2012.

The 2009 RFL Championship was the 1st season of the RFL Championship under its current name and the 42nd season under its current league status.

The 2011 Rugby Football League Championship is known as Co-operative Championship due to sponsorship by The Co-operative Group.

In 2011, Hull Kingston Rovers competed in the 16th season of the Super League and also in the 2011 Challenge Cup. Hull Kingston Rovers made the playoffs only to be knocked out by the Catalans Dragons in the first round.

Didier Cabestany was a French professional rugby league footballer who represented France at the 1995 World Cup.

The 2003 National Leagues are the second, third and fourth divisions of rugby league played in Britain.

The 2011 Crusaders Rugby League season was the club's second year in the Super League. Despite going into administration at the end of 2010, the club was readmitted to the Super League for the 2011 season, but was docked four points for breaching insolvency rules. Crusaders struggled throughout the season, and finished bottom of the league.

The 2006 Widnes Vikings season was their first in the 2006 Rugby League National Leagues since their relegation from the Super League the previous season. The Widnes Vikings aimed for immediate promotion back to the top tier eventually finishing second in the league and making it to the Grand Final. They ultimately fell short of this goal being defeated by the Hull Kingston Rovers by 29 points to 16.

The Widnes Vikings rugby league club played in the 2008 season. This was their first season since being purchased by Cheshire millionaire Steve O'Connor after the club went into administration following their loss to Castleford Tigers in the 2007 National League One final.

Dayne Donoghue is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s most notable for his time spent at the Widnes Vikings, and the Rochdale Hornets. He primarily played at second-row, and loose forward.

The Widnes Vikings competed in the Championship in the 2011 season and was their first full season under new head coach Denis Betts. During this season the club was confirmed a place in the Super League under the licensing system with the announcement being made in March 2011, but failed to improve upon their league position from the previous year again finishing 5th with 38 points.

Whitehaven once again competed in the National League One in the 2006 Season after falling to defeat at the hands of the Castleford Tigers in the 2005 grand final for a second successive season. They were led by new coach Dave Rotheram who replaced the outgoing Steve McCormack, who took up the head coaching role at newly relegated Widnes Vikings. Throughout much of the season, the club were plagued by injury problems which hindered their attempts to reach a third successive final and finally achieve promotion with at one point 15 first team players being unavailable for selection. Nevertheless, they did mount a late challenge led by new scrum half John Duffy aided by the likes of Steve Trindall and Gary Broadbent before ultimately falling short.

In the 2015 Season Coventry Bears competed in the RFL League 1 and was the first time in the club's history that they competed in the professional leagues of rugby league. Although they won just 5 league matches in their debut season, it was in many ways a successful start to life in the professional leagues with the club attracting an average attendance of 458 and being awarded the League 1 Project of the Year.

The 2016 Season saw Coventry Bears compete once again the RFL League 1, the third tier of professional rugby league in Britain, in only their second professional season. The Coventry Bears improved upon the previous season by claiming an 11th place position with 8 wins to their credit under their coach, Tom Tsang.

Widnes Vikings competed in their fourth consecutive Super League season in 2005 but would be relegated to the National League One at the end of an extremely disappointing year for the Vikings. In preparation for the start of the 2005 season they had appointed Frank Endacott, who had previously coached the Wigan Warriors, as well as signing former NRL prodigy Owen Craigie to the club. It was hoped that these men could once again lead Widnes to Super League safety once again and bounce back from a dismal 2004 season. While the Vikings managed to finish 11th in the League like last season they were nonetheless relegated due to the pending introduction of the Catalans Dragons in the 2006 season, they would not return to the top flight until 2012.

This is a list of the 2019 RFL Championship season results. The Championship is the second-tier rugby league competition in the United Kingdom. The season is scheduled to begin on February 3.
