The 2007 AIBA World Boxing Championships were held in Chicago, United States from October 23, 2007 to November 3, 2007. It was held at the UIC Pavilion. It was the biggest World Championships in AIBA history. [1] [2]

Alongside the Olympic boxing programme, they are the highest level of competition for the sport. Boxing competitions at the 2015 European Games were held from 16 to 27 June 2015 at the Crystal Hall 3 venue in the main Games cluster in Baku. The competition consisted of ten weight events for men, and five for women, and was contested, as at the Olympic Games, under rules and formats set out by the AIBA.

The light welterweight competition at the 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships will be held from 6–14 October 2015. This is a qualifying tournament for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics. Vitaly Dunaytsev of Russia defeated Fazliddin Gaibnazarov of Uzbekistan to win the world title.

The competition is under the supervision of the world's governing body for amateur boxing, AIBA, and is the youth and junior version of the World Amateur Boxing Championships. The competition was open to boxers born in 2000 and 2001. It was the second time in the tournament's history that men and women fought in the same championship.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships</span> Boxing competition

The 2021 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships (21st) were held in Kielce, Poland, from 13 to 23 April 2021. The competition was held under the supervision of AIBA, the world's governing body for amateur boxing, and was open to boxers born in 2002 and 2003. It was the third time in the tournament's history that men and women have fought in the same championship. India topped the medal table with eight gold and three bronze medals.

Esra Yıldız is a Turkish amateur boxer who won a bronze medal in the lightweight division at the 2016 European Championships. She was named as a competitor for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
