2007 Burkinabé parliamentary election

Parliamentary elections were held in Burkina Faso on 6 May 2007. [1] The result was a victory for the ruling Congress for Democracy and Progress (CDP), which won 73 of the 111 seats in the National Assembly.

The party retained its seat in the National Assembly in the 2009 elections, although it lost both of its representatives in the provincial legislatures of Gauteng and Eastern Cape.
