Roger Federer defeated Marcos Baghdatis in the final, 5–7, 7–5, 6–0, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2006 Australian Open. It was his second Australian Open title and his seventh major title overall. Baghdatis became the first Cypriot to reach a major final.
Three-time defending champion Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–0, 7–6(7–5), 6–7(2–7), 6–3 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships. It was his fourth Wimbledon title and his eighth major title overall. Federer lost just one set during the tournament, to Nadal in the final. It would be the first of three consecutive years that Federer and Nadal would contest the Wimbledon final.
Two-time defending champion Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick in the final, 6–2, 4–6, 7–5, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2006 US Open. It was his third US Open title and ninth major title overall. Federer became the sixth man to reach all four major finals in one calendar year, the second to do so in the Open Era, and the first to do so since Laver in 1969. Also, he reached a record-equaling 10th consecutive major semifinal, matching Laver and Ivan Lendl.
Defending champion Roger Federer defeated Fernando González in the final, 7–6(7–2), 6–4, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2007 Australian Open. It was his third Australian Open title and his tenth major title overall. Federer became the first man to win a major without losing a set since Björn Borg at the 1980 French Open, and the first to do so in a major played on hardcourts. Also, Federer made a record-equaling seventh consecutive major final appearance, after Jack Crawford during the 1930s, and became the first man to reach eleven consecutive major semifinals. González became the first Chilean to reach a major final since Marcelo Ríos in 1998.
Four-time defending champion Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal in the final, 7–6(9–7), 4–6, 7–6(7–3), 2–6, 6–2 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2007 Wimbledon Championships. It was Federer's Open Era record-equaling fifth consecutive Wimbledon title, his fifth Wimbledon title overall, and his eleventh major title overall. It was the second of three consecutive years that Federer and Nadal would contest the Wimbledon final.
Three-time defending champion Roger Federer defeated Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–6(7–4), 7–6(7–2), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2007 US Open. It was his fourth US Open title and 12th major title overall. With the win, Federer marked his third year in which he won three of the four majors. Also, he reached a record-equaling 14th consecutive major quarterfinal, matching Roy Emerson and Ivan Lendl. It was Djokovic's first major final appearance, and the first of an eventual record 36 major final appearances.
Novak Djokovic defeated Guillermo Cañas in the final, 6–3, 6–2, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2007 Miami Open. It was his first Masters singles title, and the first of an eventual record 40 Masters titles. He did not lose a single set in the entire tournament. At the time, Djokovic was the youngest men's singles champion in Miami Open history, until Carlos Alcaraz broke the record in 2022.
Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic in the final, 6–2, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2007 Indian Wells Masters. He did not lose a single set in the entire tournament. By reaching the final, Djokovic entered the world's top 10 in rankings for the first time in his career.
Novak Djokovic defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final, 4–6, 6–4, 6–3, 7–6(7–2) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2008 Australian Open. It was his first major title, the first of a record ten Australian Open titles, and the first of an all-time record 24 major men's singles titles overall. Djokovic became the first Serbian man to win a major singles title. It was the first major final since the 2005 Australian Open not to feature either Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal, who were beaten by Djokovic and Tsonga, respectively, in the semifinals. Alongside second-seeded Nadal, Tsonga defeated three more seeds en route to the final, including ninth-seed Andy Murray.
Two-time defending champion Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in a rematch of the previous year's final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2007 Monte Carlo Masters. He did not lose a single set in the entire tournament.
Philipp Kohlschreiber defeated Mikhail Youzhny 2–6, 6–3, 6–4 to win the 2007 BMW Open singles event.
David Ferrer defeated Nicolás Almagro 6–1, 6–2 to win the 2007 Swedish Open singles event.
In the singles event at the 2008 Heineken Open tennis tournament in Auckland, New Zealand, David Ferrer was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Julien Benneteau.
