2008 FAM League is the 57th edition season of current third-tier league competition in Malaysia. The league is called TM Malaysia FAM League for sponsorship reason.
The league winner for 2008 season is PBDKT T-Team.

Football Association of Selangor II, also named Selangor II, is the reserve team of Selangor, and based in Shah Alam, in the state of Selangor. Founded in 1967 as part of the sports and recreation club for the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor. The club was merged with Football Association of Selangor at end of 2019 as one club and was rebranded as a football club to be known as Selangor II. The team formerly known "PKNS FC" was then converted into a reserve team as part of the feeder club regulations and will begin the 2020 season as a reserve team of Selangor FA and will play in Premier League, holding home games at UiTM Stadium with a 10,000-seat capacity.

Sarawak United Football Club is a Malaysian football club based in Kuching, Sarawak. The club currently play in the second-tier division in Malaysian football, the Malaysia Premier League. Founded in 1974 as Malaysia Malays' Football Association (PBMM); the club has been renamed to Selangor Malays' Football Association (PBMS) starting 2017 Malaysia FAM League season. They were rebranded again as Selangor United for the 2018 Malaysia FAM Cup season. Unfortunately, Selangor United did not last long in the game as they faced financial difficulties, then to be bought over by Sarawak FA. The new owners demanded for a new name to rebrand their newly bought club and was named Sarawak United. This move was a win-win situation as Sarawak United filled up Selangor United's slot in the 2020 Malaysia Premier League, instead of playing for the Malaysia M3 League, which is played by the original state team.
