Suzuka is a city in Mie Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 July 2021, the city had an estimated population of 197,977 in 87,680 households and a population density of 1000 persons per km². The total area of the city is 194.46 square kilometres.
The Japanese Grand Prix is a motor racing event in the calendar of the Formula One World Championship. Shinichi Ito born December 7, 1966 in Kakuda, Miyagi, Japan) is a retired professional Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He has raced extensively in Japanese and International championships. Ito has competed in the All Japan Road Race Championship, and won the Japanese 500 cc Championship, and is also 3 times Japanese Superbike Champion. In the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hour Endurance Race he has qualified on pole 5 times and won the race 3 times. Ito has also raced in Superbike World Championship. His considerable experience on different types of racing machine has earned him a reputation as a premier development rider.
Nobuatsu Aoki is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Aoki began his Grand Prix career in 1990 and won his first and only Grand Prix at the 250cc Malaysian Grand Prix. His best season was in 1997, when he finished third in the 500cc world championship behind Mick Doohan and Tadayuki Okada. In 2009, he teamed with Daisaku Sakai and Kazuki Tokudome on a Suzuki GSX-R1000 to win the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race. He is the oldest of three Aoki brothers who have competed in motorcycle Grand Prix races.

His successes in both series has allowed him to reach the 40-point threshold required for an F1 superlicence.

Mobilityland is a merger of two Japanese racing track facilities, known as the Suzuka Circuit and the Twin Ring Motegi. Suzuka Circuit was established in 1962 and Twin Ring Motegi was established in 1997. The two facilities merged management operations June 1, 2006, establishing the following business model. Mobilityland is publicly held, but all shares are owned by Honda Motor Company.
