The 2009 Korea National League was the seventh season of the Korea National League. It was divided in two stages, and the top two clubs of the overall table qualified for the championship playoffs in addition to the winners of each stage. The first stage began on 11 April, and ended on 11 July. The second stage started on 21 August, and ended on 22 November.

This article shows the 2009 season of South Korean football.
The 2009 WK League was the inaugural season of the WK League, the South Korean women's football league. It began on 20 April 2009 with the first matches of the regular season and ended on 16 November 2009 with the return leg of the Championship Final. The slogan of the 2009 season was "Beautiful Football".
The 2010 Korea National League, also known as Daehan Life Korea National League 2010, was the eighth season of the Korea National League. It was divided in two stages, and the top two clubs of the overall table qualified for the championship playoffs in addition to the winners of each stage. It began on 26 March, and ended on 19 November. Foreign players were eligible for the participation since this season. Each club was able to have three foreign players on its roster and two foreign players in its line up.
The 2011 Korea National League was the ninth season of the Korea National League. The number of post-season playoffs' teams were increased to six and the playoffs were operated in the same format as the K League Championship. Before the start of the 2011 season, Yesan FC withdrew from the league due to its financial difficulty.

The 2020 K3 League was the first season of the K3 League as a semi-professional league and the third tier of South Korean football league system. After the 2019 season, the former Korea National League and K3 League Advanced went defunct and rebranded into the K3 League. In the 2020 season, 16 teams are going to compete in the K3 League, and they are 8 teams from KNL, 6 teams from K3 League Advanced, and 2 teams from K3 League Basic. The teams for the 2020 season were announced by the Korea Football Association on 19 December 2019.
The 2021 AFC Cup group stage was played from 14 May to 24 August 2021. A total of 38 teams should have competed in the group stage to decide the 12 places in the knockout stage of the 2021 AFC Cup.
The 2022 K League 1, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the 40th season of the top division of professional football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983 as the K League, and the fifth season under its current name, the K League 1. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are the defending champions.
The 2022 K League 2 was the tenth season of the K League 2, the second-tier South Korean professional football league, and the fifth one under its current name, the K League 2. The top-ranked team and the winners of the promotion/relegation playoff series were promoted to the 2023 K League 1.
