The 2018 Korea National League was the 16th season of the Korea National League, the third tier of South Korea's football league system. Each of eight clubs played four times against all other clubs in the regular season, and the top three clubs of the regular season qualified for post-season playoffs. [3]

The 2007 K League was the 25th season of the K League. The format of the league was changed from two stages to single league since this season. Each team played 26 matches against every other teams under the home and away system. After the regular league was finished, the top six clubs qualified for the championship playoffs to determine champions.

Ko Jeong-woon is a South Korean football manager and former player. He was South Korea's most threatening forward in the 1994 FIFA World Cup. That year, he also showed his best performances in the K League, winning the title and the MVP award. He interested Bayer Leverkusen, and negotiated with them in Germany after the end of the season. However, Ilhwa's director strongly opposed and scuttled Ko's deal, and the cancellation became his lifelong resentment. He is currently manager of Gimpo FC.

The 1986 Korean Football Festival was the fourth season of the top football league in South Korea. Six teams participated in this season. Five of them were professional teams and one was a semi-professional team. Hallelujah FC, the first South Korean first professional football club, changed its status to a semi-professional club and withdrew from the league afterwards. Sangmu FC, run by the Army also withdrew, leaving Hanil Bank as the only semi-professional team in the league.

Each club was able to have three foreign players on its roster and two foreign players in its line up.

The 2011 Korea National League was the ninth season of the Korea National League. The number of post-season playoffs' teams were increased to six and the playoffs were operated in the same format as the K League Championship. Before the start of the 2011 season, Yesan FC withdrew from the league due to its financial difficulty.

The 2012 Korea National League was the tenth season of the Korea National League.

The 2013 Korea National League was the eleventh season of the Korea National League. A total of ten clubs participated in this season after four clubs were dropped out from the league. Ansan H FC, Suwon City, and Chungju Hummel started to participate in a new professional league K League 2. Kookmin Bank decided to dissolve their football club Goyang KB Kookmin Bank and sponsor K League 2 club FC Anyang. The post-season playoffs were contested by four teams.

The 2014 Korea National League, also known as the Samsung Life National League 2014 due to the sponsorship of Samsung Life Insurance, was the twelfth season of the Korea National League. Each of the ten clubs played against all other clubs three times in the regular season, and the top four clubs of the regular season qualified for the post-season playoffs.

Kim Min-jae is a South Korean professional footballer who plays primarily as a centre-back for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the South Korea national team. Nicknamed "the Monster" for his aerial ability, strength, speed, aggressiveness, physical attributes and flexibility, Kim is considered one of the best defenders in the world.

The 2019 Korea National League was the 17th and the last season of the Korea National League, the third-highest division of the South Korean football league system. After this season, Korea National League clubs entered the newly-developed K3 League.
