The FIM Tobet Speedway World Cup Race-Off was the third meeting of the 2009 Speedway World Cup tournament. It took place on 16 July 2009 in the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium in Leszno, Poland. [1] [2]

The 2009 FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the ninth FIM Speedway World Cup season. The final took place on 19 July 2009 in Leszno, Poland. The defending World Champions were Denmark who won the 2008 final in Vojens, Denmark. It was the fourth final to be held in Poland, and the second in the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium after the 2007 final was held there when Poland beat Denmark, Australia and Great Britain. Poland won the 2009 Speedway World Cup.

Alfred Smoczyk Stadium is a stadium in Leszno, Poland. It is currently used speedway matches and is the home stadium of Unia Leszno. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people.

The Race-off was won by Australian team (51 points). Australia and Sweden (39 pts) qualifying to Saturday's World Cup Final at Leszno also. Third Great Britain (35 pts) and fourth Denmark (34 pts) was knocked out of the competition. [3]
