The 2009 Women's European Union Amateur Boxing Championships were held in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria from June 24 to 28. The event, an annual competition, was the fourth since its conception. It was organised by the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) and 62 fighters from 12 federations participated in 11 weight divisions. [1]

Savate, also known as boxe française, savate boxing, French boxing or French footfighting, is a French kickboxing combat sport that uses the hands and feet as weapons combining elements of English boxing with graceful kicking techniques.

David Valeryevich Ayrapetyan is an Armenian-Russian amateur boxer. He is a six-time Champion of Russia, European Champion, World and Olympic medalist. Ayrapetyan was awarded the Honored Master of Sports of Russia title in 2009.

The 2006 Women's European Union Amateur Boxing Championships were held in the Area Teleferica in Porto Torres, Sardinia, Italy from June 6 to June 11. This was the 1st ever edition of this annual competition, and was organised by the European governing body for amateur boxing, EABA.

This was the 6th edition of this annual competition organised by the European governing body for amateur boxing, the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). 84 fighters from 20 federations competed in 10 weight divisions.

Natasha Jonas is a British professional boxer who has held the WBO female junior-middleweight title since February 2022. Since September 3rd 2022 she has held the WBC female super-welterweight title. Since November 12th 2022 she held the IBF Light middleweight title. an amateur, she won a bronze medal in the lightweight division at the 2012 AIBA World Championships; bronze in the light welterweight division at the 2011 European Championships; and silver in the light welterweight division at the 2014 European Championships.

The 5th edition of this annual competition was organised by the European governing body for amateur boxing, the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). 107 fighters from 21 federations competed in 11 weight divisions.

Boxing in Armenia is a popular sport, that existed in the Armenian Highland since ancient times. Amateur boxing schools in the country appeared in early 1900s, by the mid-1950s boxing became one of the traditional sports in Armenia. In 1956, Vladimir Yengibaryan won a gold medal at the Olympics for the Soviet team. In the early 21st century, professional and amateur boxing in Armenia reached another peak. Most notably Arthur Abraham and Vic Darchinyan won several professional world champion titles. Dozens of amateur boxers have been placed in the top 3 of world and European competitions for various weight categories. Vladimir Yengibarian was among the first individuals to open professional boxing schools in Armenia. The sport is regulated by the Armenian Boxing Federation.

The Confédération Européene de Billard (CEB) is the European governing body of carom billiards and is affiliated to the world federation UMB.

Delphine Aurore Delrue is a French badminton player. Delrue started playing badminton at aged seven, and she affiliate with the USEE Badminton club in 2006. Delrue was selected to join the national team in INSEP in 2016. In 2015, she became the runner-up of European University Championships in the women's doubles and mixed doubles events. In 2016, she won French National Badminton Championships in the women's doubles event with her partner Léa Palermo. She also the runner-up at the Orléans International in the women's doubles event and Swiss International in the mixed doubles event. In 2017, she became the runner-up at the Estonian International partnered with Léa Palermo. She competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, clinched the women's doubles gold with Palermo. In 2019, she captured a bronze medal at the European Games in the mixed doubles event with Thom Gicquel. Delrue and Gicquel reached a career high as world number 10 in the BWF World ranking in 9 March 2021. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Nadine Apetz is a German amateur boxer. She won bronze medals at the World Championships in 2016 and 2018, and gold at the 2017 EU Championships. In 2021, she became the first German woman to qualify for a boxing event at the Summer Olympic Games.

Heimata Neuffer was a French Polynesian heavyweight boxer who represented French Polynesia at the Pacific Games.
