The European Boxing Confederation(EUBC) is the European governing body in amateur boxing. It is a member of the world governing body AIBA.
It came into existence on the adoption of its constitution on February 16, 2009, taking over the functions of the former European Amateur Boxing Association (EABA).
The president of the EUBC is Franco Falcinelli (former president of Italian Boxing Federation-Federazione Pugilistica Italiana). There are two vice-presidents and 16 executive committee members, all of whom are male, although the Confederation controls amateur boxing of both sexes.
On 29 October 2007, the executive committee of EABA removed former president Eduard Khusainov (Russia), a sworn enemy of AIBA president Wu Ching-kuo, from its association in an extraordinary EC meeting held in Chicago. The vote was 14 for and one against the removal of Khusainov after the Russia Boxing Federation notified the EABA and AIBA early in October of its decision to withdraw its support for him.
On March 4, 2022, in reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the IBA banned athletes from Russia and Belarus from competing in international competitions. [1] In October of th same year the IBA (which is under influence of Putin-russia) reversed that ban. [2]

The men's 2004 European Amateur Boxing Championships were held in Pula, Croatia, from February 19 to February 29. The 35th edition of the bi-annual competition was organised by the European governing body for amateur boxing, EABA. A total number of 292 fighters from 41 countries competed at these championships. Russia's Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov afterwards received the Best Fighter Award. The tournament served as a qualification event for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. It is made up of 17 Nations within the Oceania Region.

Umar Kremlev is a Russian sports functionary who has served as the President of the International Boxing Association (IBA) since 2020. He has been Secretary General and Member of the Executive Committee of the Boxing Federation of Russia since February 2017. In 2022, IBA members voted against holding an election, 106-36, allowing Kremlev to remain IBA president.
The 2022 European U22 Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships (8th) took place in Poreč, Croatia from 13 to 24 March 2022. Men and women boxers between the ages of 19 and 22 was eligible for this championships. Only one boxer per national federation per weight category would be allowed to compete.
The 2022 Youth European Boxing Championships, the 32nd European Boxing Championships for youths aged 17 to 19, took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 14 to 21 April 2022. The event was organized by the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). To participate, boxers must have been born in 2004 or 2005.
