The Futsal European Federation (FEF) is the futsal governing body for both fully and non-independent states or regions in Europe. It was founded in 2017 to replace UEFS. FEF organizes men's and women's tournaments for both national/regional and club teams in Europe.

The futsal competition at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 18 October. At Tecnópolis and the CeNARD, the first one located in Villa Martelli, and the second one in Buenos Aires. There are two tournaments, one for boys and one for girls.

The Copa Ecuador, officially known as Copa FEF Ecuador, is a knockout football competition in men's domestic Ecuadorian football organized by the Ecuadorian Football Federation that started in 2018. Its creation was approved on 18 May 2018, considering that the governing body would stop organizing the first and second tier championships starting from 2019 and that it was needed to both expand the scope of Ecuadorian football to more places within the country and generate new economic resources for the FEF and the lower tiers of domestic football, represented by the provincial associations.

Indonesian Women's Professional Futsal League is the main competition futsal for women at the national level and is in Indonesia, organized by the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI). This competition began in the 2012–2013 season and until now it has been arranged 6 times. This competition was held in conjunction with the title of the Indonesia Pro Futsal League.
