The 2010 Gulf Ice Hockey Championship was the first Gulf Ice Hockey Championship. It took place between 25 May and 30 May 2010 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The United Arab Emirates won the tournament winning all three of their games and finishing first in the standings. Kuwait finished second and Saudi Arabia finished in third place.
The 2010 Gulf Ice Hockey Championship began on 25 May 2010 in Kuwait City, Kuwait with the games being played at the National Ice Skating Rink. [1] The Oman and Saudi Arabia their made their debut in international competition. The event was organised by the Kuwait Ice Hockey Association and supervised by the International Ice Hockey Federation who also provided referees. [1] [2] The United Arab Emirates won the tournament, winning all three games and finishing first in the standings. [3] Kuwait finished second after losing only to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia finished in third place. [3]

The Kuwait national football team is the national team of Kuwait and is controlled by the Kuwait Football Association. Kuwait made one World Cup finals appearance, in 1982, managing one point in the group stages. In the Asian Cup, Kuwait reached the final in 1976 and won the tournament in 1980.

The Gulf Ice Hockey Championship, also known as the GCC Gulf Ice Hockey Championships, is an international ice hockey competition involving countries from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The inaugural tournament took place on May 25 to May 30 in Kuwait City, Kuwait, and was organized by the Kuwait Ice Hockey Association. The championship has featured teams from six countries since its formation and currently consists of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates has won all four editions of the championship, while Kuwait has finished second on three occasions and Qatar on one.

The 2011 IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia was the 4th IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia, an annual international ice hockey tournament held by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). It took place between April 25 and April 30, 2011 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Last years winner, Chinese Taipei did not field a team to defend their title. The tournament was won by Hong Kong, who claimed their first title after winning all five of their games.

Chinese Taipei won the tournament after winning all four of their games and finishing first in the standings. Thailand finished in second place and Hong Kong finished third.

Hong Kong won the tournament after winning all three of their games and finishing first in the standings. Thailand finished in second place and Singapore finished third.

The tournament took place between 12 and 17 December 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was the fourth edition held since its formation in 2012 under the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia series of tournaments. To be eligible as a "junior", a player cannot be born earlier than 1998. Malaysia won the tournament after winning all five of their round-robin games and finishing first in the standings. Kyrgyzstan finished in second place and the United Arab Emirates finished third.

The United Arab Emirates finished in second place and India finished third.
