The 2010 Leinster Football Association Senior Cup, also known as the 2010 Leinster Senior Cup, was the 109th staging of the Leinster Senior Cup association football competition. The 2010 Leinster Senior Cup marked the return of the competition following a ten-year absence. [1]
Twenty teams competed in the 2010 competition. The teams entered included the League of Ireland clubs affiliated to the Leinster Football Association, the top four clubs from the 2008–09 Leinster Senior League Senior Division and the two 2009 Leinster Junior Cup finalists. The 12 clubs from both the League of Ireland Premier Division and League of Ireland First Division automatically qualified for the first round of the competition while the eight clubs from the A Championship, Leinster Senior League and the Athletic Union League entered into a Preliminary Round.
The 2010 Leinster Senior Cup kicked off with the preliminary round on 26 January 2010 and concluded with the Final on 2 August 2010 when Shelbourne defeated Bray Wanderers 4–0 at the Carlisle Grounds, Bray.

Shelbourne Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Drumcondra, Dublin, who play in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Bray Wanderers Football Club are an Irish association football club playing in the League of Ireland First Division. The club in its present form was founded in 1942 in Bray, and was known until 2010 as Bray Wanderers A.F.C. It was elected to the league in 1985, and plays its home matches at the Carlisle Grounds. The club's colours are green and white, and it goes by the nickname The Seagulls.

Bray Unknowns Football Club was an Irish association football club based in Bray, County Wicklow. During the 1920s and 1930s the Unknowns were the dominant football club in Bray, playing in the League of Ireland for nineteen seasons from 1924–25 to 1942–43. However, in the 1950s, Bray Wanderers emerged as the town's strongest team, enjoying success in both the Leinster Senior League and the FAI Intermediate Cup. The 2020 FAI Cup was the 100th edition of the Republic of Ireland's primary national cup competition. This edition featured clubs exclusively from the League of Ireland Premier Division and the First Division, whereas usually non-league teams are involved. The number of teams was reduced due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The restrictions also meant that crowds were restricted or prohibited from attending. The competition began on 10 August 2020 with the first of four rounds and concluded on 6 December 2020 with the final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, a nominally neutral venue, which has hosted the final since 2010.
