The 2010 Meydan FEI Nations Cup was the 2010 edition of the FEI Nations Cup, a premier international team Grand Prix show jumping competition run by the FEI and sponsored by the Meydan Group from Dubai. It was held at eight European venues from May 14 to August 6, 2010.
The FEI Nations Cup, called Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup since 2013 because of sponsorship reasons, is the most prestigious Show Jumping series for national teams in the world. It is organized by the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI).

Cián O'Connor is an Irish equestrian who competes in show jumping. He currently ranks forty-ninth for the FEI Rolex Ranking List. He won a bronze medal at the London Olympic games 2012. He was also a member of the Irish Nations Cup team, which won the Aga Khan Trophy at the Dublin Horse show 2012. He was a late nomination to the Irish Team for the London Olympics and got a late call to jump the final two rounds in the individual competition, after one horse failed a routine veterinary inspection on the morning of the competition.

The 2008 Samsung Super League was the 2008 edition of the Samsung Super League, the premier international team Grand Prix show jumping competition run by the FEI and sponsored by Samsung Electronics. It was held at eight European venues from May 9 to September 21, 2008. Germany won the series for the third consecutive year, while Ludger Beerbaum of Germany won the title of top rider. Sweden was relegated to the 2009 FEI Nations Cup after finishing last in the eight team series.
The 2008 Samsung FEI Nations Cup Promotional League was the 2008 edition of the second division of the Samsung Super League, an international team Grand Prix show jumping competition run by the FEI. Ireland won the Promotional League the previous year and had been promoted to the 2008 Samsung Super League. France joined the series, having been relegated from the 2007 Samsung Super League.

The 2009 Promotional League Final was the Final event of the 2009 FEI Nations Cup Promotional League and the first Promotional League Final ever. It was held in Barcelona (Spain) on September 20, 2009 during the 2009 CSIO Barcelona. Seven teams started the competition and the team from Spain won the event. A €90,000 purse was offered at this CSIO**** competition, with each of the six competing teams receiving a share.
Darragh Kenny is an Irish equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. Kenny won a training bursary at the RDS Dublin Horse Show in 2007 to go and work for Missy Clark and John Brennan at North Run Stables in Warren, Vermont. He returned in the winter of 2008 to compete for them on the Florida circuit. In 2012, Kenny setup Oakland Ventures LLC and over the last three years, it has thrived as one of the most successful competition barns across the United States with Kenny at the helm.
