The 2010 World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup or Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup was the second edition of the international Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Marcelo Garcia is a Brazilian grappler and retired jiu-jitsu competitor who was widely considered to be one of the best grapplers and arguably the best pound for pound submission grappler in the world. Garcia is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Fabio Gurgel of Team Alliance.

Robson Moura Fonseca is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor, instructor and a mixed martial artist. He started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 10 in Teresópolis, Brazil. His first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teacher was Ailson "Jucão" Brites, though Moura attained the rank of black belt at the age of 16 from Nova União co-founder André Pederneiras. Today Moura holds a 6th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Brites. He has a mixed martial arts record of 2-1-1.

Carlos "Português" Vieira is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter and teacher. He began training in 1992 after trialing a class with friends. Since then he has won various titles including European Champion, Pan American Champion and Brazilian National Champion.

The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship (ADWPJJC), often simply called the Abu Dhabi World Pro, and from 2009 to 2014 known as the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup (WPJJC), is an international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition that takes place every year in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The tournament is organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) since 2012, attracting competitors from 60 countries across all belt levels.

Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship is a Nogi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament. They are hosted annually by the IBJJF International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

The Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament that is held in Barueri, Brazil. They are hosted annually by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.



Marcus Vinícius Oliveira de Almeida, also known as Buchecha is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and black belt under Rodrigo Cavaca, who gave Almeida his nickname Buchecha, which means cheek. Almeida competes for the Checkmat team. A multiple times world champion Buchecha is a member of the IBJJF Hall of Fame.

Keenan Kai-James Cornelius is an American martial artist. His competitive achievements include what has been called a "grand slam" in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, having won double gold medals at four major tournaments: the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, Pan-American Championship, European Open Championship, and Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship - as a purple belt. He is also known for his creation of guard techniques such as the Worm Guard.

Augusto Mendes is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner. He is currently signed to the Absolute Championship Berkut. He was the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Black Belt World 70 kg champion (2013), International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation World Nogi 73.5 kg champion in 2012 and 2015 and UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Pro Champion in 2011 and 2013.

De'Alonzio Jackson, known as DJ Jackson, is an American Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner and mixed martial artist based in Thailand. He is a multiple Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champions in IBJJF, ADCC, Pan American, Brazilian National and COPA de Bangkok. Jackson is the first African-American world Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion.

Margot Ciccarelli Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner from Italy

Margot Ciccarelli is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and coach. A multiple time World and European Champion as a coloured belt representing Italy. Ciccarelli is a 2021 World Championship and 2022 European Championship black belt medalist.

Bianca Barbosa Basílio also known as Bia Basílio is a grappler, mixed martial artist and BJJ competitor. A multiple world champion in coloured belts, Basílio is a twice World Jiu-Jitsu Championship black belt medallist, a three times Abu Dhabi World Pro Champion and the 2019 ADCC Submission Fighting World Champion.

Devhonte Johnson often referred to as “Bones” is a black belt Professional Jiu-Jitsu Competitor who heads the Unity Jiu-Jitsu team. He specializes in the Lasso Guard and Stack Pass techniques. In 2019 Devhonte opened his own gym, Bones BJJ located in Clifton, NJ.

Vanessa English, is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt competitor and instructor. In coloured belt she is a multiple times European champion, in both Gi and No-Gi, and is the first British born Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor to win the IBJJF World Championships. English is a 2018 World Championship black belt medallist and the 2018 European Open black belt Champion.
