2010–11 Women's LEN Trophy

The 2010-11 Women's LEN Trophy was the 12th edition of the second tier of LEN's international competitions for women's water polo clubs. Twenty teams from eleven countries took part in the competition, which ran from 10 December 2010 to 20 April 2011.

Contents

ASD Rapallo Nuoto defeated Het Ravijn in the final, overcoming a 7-goals loss in the first leg, to win the competition. Szentesi VK and SKIF Izmaylovo also reached the semifinals. [1] It was the seventh time the trophy went to Italy, with Rapallo Nuoto becoming the fourth Italian team to win the competition after Gifa Palermo, CC Ortigia and ASD Roma. [2]

The 1983 LEN European Aquatics Championships took place at the Stadio Olimpico del Nuoto in Rome, Italy, between 22 August and 27 August 1983. East Germany won all women's events in the swimming competition, and also every silver medal available to them in individual events. <span class="mw-page-title-main">LEN Women's Euro Cup</span> Swimming competition

The LEN Women's Euro Cup, formerly the Women's LEN Trophy, is LEN's second-tier competition for women's water polo clubs. It was first held in 2000 as the LEN Women's Cup Winners' Cup. It was contested for many seasons by around 15 teams, which could qualify for it either directly due to high ranking in their domestic league or by being eliminated at certain stages of the Champions' Cup. After the last reformations in the European competitions system by LEN, only four teams contesting for the trophy, coming after elimination at that season's LEN Euro League quarterfinals stage. Italy's Gifa Palermo, Ortigia, Racing Roma, Imperia, Russia's Shturm Ruza, and Greece's Ethnikos are the most successful clubs in the competition with two titles each.

The Greek Women's Water Polo A1 League is the premier championship for women's water polo teams in Greece. It was founded in 1988, and it is currently contested by twelve teams. Greek League is ranked as one of the top national domestic leagues in European water polo. The champion, the runner-up and the third-placed team qualify for the LEN Euro League.

Kristijan Milaković (born April 21, 1992) is a Croatian professional water polo player who currently plays for Savona of the Serie A1 (water polo). At the 2021 European Short Course Championships he won a gold medal and set a world record in the 4×50-metre medley relay, won three silver medals, one in the 50-metre backstroke, one in the 100-metre butterfly, and one in the 4×50-metre mixed medley relay, and won a bronze medal in the 200-metre backstroke. Lorenzo Mora is a competitive Italian swimmer. He is a world record holder in the short course 4×50 metre medley relay. He is the Italian record holder in the short course 100 metre backstroke and 200 metre backstroke. In the 50 metre backstroke, he won the silver medal at the 2021 World Short Course Championships and the bronze medal at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. In the 100 metre backstroke, he won the silver medal at each the 2022 World Short Course Championships and the 2022 Mediterranean Games. In the 200 metre backstroke, he won the bronze medal at the 2022 World Short Course Championships, the silver medal at the 2021 European Short Course Championships, and the gold medal at the 2022 Mediterranean Games.
