The 2011 FIBA Asia Championship for Women was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the women's basketball tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics at London. The tournament was held in Omura, Japan from August 21 to August 28.

Duane Charles "Bill" Parcells, also known as "The Big Tuna", is an American former football coach who was a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 19 seasons. He rose to prominence as the head coach of the New York Giants, whom he led to two Super Bowl titles. Parcells later served as the head coach of the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys. Throughout his career, he coached teams that were in a period of decline and turned them into postseason contenders. Among men's college basketball coaches, only UCLA's John Wooden has won more NCAA Championships with a total of 10. Krzyzewski has the most wins of any coach in college basketball history.

Jon David Gruden is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He first served as the Raiders' head coach from 1998 to 2001 and rejoined the team in 2018. Notre Dame Fighting Irish football American college football team

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team is the intercollegiate football team representing the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana. The team is currently coached by Brian Kelly and plays its home games at the campus's Notre Dame Stadium, which has a capacity of 77,622. Dennis Green Player of American and Canadian football

Dennis Earl Green was an American football coach. During his National Football League (NFL) career, Green coached the Minnesota Vikings for 10 seasons. He coached the Vikings to eight playoff appearances in nine years, despite having seven different starting quarterbacks in those postseasons. He was posthumously inducted into the Minnesota Vikings Ring of Honor in 2018.

The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament contested by the senior men's teams of the national associations affiliated to FIFA. The tournament was played in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998 and featured 32 teams divided into eight groups of four. Each team was required to submit a squad of 22 players – numbered sequentially from 1 to 22 – from whom they would select their teams for each match at the tournament, with the final squads to be submitted by 1 June 1998. In total, 704 players were selected for the tournament.

Romeo Crennel is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He has been the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs, as well an assistant coach for six different NFL teams and four different college teams. He also has over 40 years of coaching experience which has included consistently being employed as a coach for all but two seasons 1970, only taking the 2009 and 2013 seasons off following both of his tenures as a head coach. He has had success as an assistant coach, winning 5 Super Bowls, however he has not found the same success as a head coach. His overall record in five seasons as a head coach and three games as an interim head coach is 28–55, with only one winning season and no playoff appearances.

Les Miles American football coach

Leslie Edwin Miles is an American football coach who is the head football coach at the University of Kansas. His head coaching career began with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, where he coached from 2001 to 2004. Following that, he coached LSU from 2005 to 2016. Miles is nicknamed "The Hat" for his signature white cap, as well as "The Mad Hatter" for his eccentricities and play-calling habits. Prior to being a head coach, he was an assistant coach at Oklahoma State as well as at the University of Michigan, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). Miles led the 2007 LSU Tigers football team to a win in the BCS National Championship Game, defeating Ohio State.

He is the head coach and President of the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and head coach of USA national team. Taking over as coach of the Spurs in 1996, Popovich is the longest tenured active coach in both the NBA and all major sports leagues in the United States. He is often called "Coach Pop" or simply "Pop."

McDaniels was one of the few members of the Patriots' coaching staff that has been there for all six of their Super Bowl wins; he was with the team initially from 2001 to 2008, serving in multiple capacities. He is the highest-paid offensive coordinator in the NFL.

Michael Pettaway Tomlin is an American football coach who is the 16th head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL), having led the team since 2007. With the victory in Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009 against the Arizona Cardinals, Tomlin became the youngest head coach in NFL history to lead his team to a Super Bowl championship.

Jay Gruden American football coach and former player

Jay Michael Gruden is an American football coach and former quarterback, who is the current head coach of the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). During his time in the Arena Football League (AFL), he won four ArenaBowls as a player and two more as a head coach. He is the younger brother of Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden, and was a member of the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl XXXVII.
