Cameron James Kalana Higgins is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Weber State. Higgins has led WSU to an 18-5 Big Sky Conference record and 22-11 overall record since taking over the starting position during the fourth game of his freshman season in 2007.

The 2012 Weber State Wildcats football team represented Weber State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. In December 2011, John L. Smith was hired to be the new head coach. That all changed on April 23, 2012. On April 23, John L. Smith was offered a one-year contract to be the new head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks, so he left Weber State to take the position after being head coach for roughly 3+1⁄2 months. On April 26, Weber State announced that Jody Sears would serve as interim head coach for the 2012 season in addition to the defensive coordinator spot he was hired for earlier in April. Weber State played their home games at Stewart Stadium. They are a member of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 2–9, 2–6 in Big Sky play to finish in a tie for 11th place.

The Wildcats were led by fourth-year head coach Jay Hill and played their games at Stewart Stadium as members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 11–3, 7–1 in Big Sky play to finish in a tie for the Big Sky championship with Southern Utah. Due to their head-to-head loss to Southern Utah in the regular season, they did not receive the Big Sky's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs, but did receive an at-large bid to the FCS Playoffs, their second straight trip to the playoffs. In the first round, they defeated Western Illinois. In the second round, they avenged their regular season loss to Southern Utah. In the quarterfinals, they lost to eventual national runner-up, James Madison.

They received the Big Sky's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where, after a first round bye, they defeated Southeast Missouri State in the second round before losing in the quarterfinals to Maine.

They received the Big Sky's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where, after a first round bye, they defeated Kennesaw State in the second round and Montana in the quarterfinals before losing to James Madison in the semifinals.

Led by fourth-year head coach Ron McBride, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 10–4 with a mark of 7–1 in conference play to share the Big Sky championship with Montana. Weber State received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs, where they beat Cal Poly in the first round before losing to Montana in the quarterfinals.

The 1992 Weber State Wildcats football team represented Weber State University as a member of the Big Sky Conference during the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Dave Arslanian and senior quarterback Jamie Martin, the Wildcats compiled and overall record of 6–5 with a mark of 4–3 in conference play, tying for third place in the Big Sky. In 2014, Martin's number 10 was the first number be retired in Stewart Stadium. As of 2019, Martin is the only Weber State player to receive this honor.

David Patten is an American former basketball player and current radio commentator. Patten played college basketball for the Weber State Wildcats and went on to play professionally in several countries.
The 2022 Weber State Wildcats football team represented Weber State University as a member of the Big Sky Conference during the 2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Wildcats were led by ninth-year head coach Jay Hill and played their games at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah. The Wildcats began the regular season ranked number 20 in the FCS rankings. On September 10, the Wildcats defeated the Utah State Aggies, their first win against the Aggies since 1978, and their first win against an FBS opponent since their victory against Nevada in 1993. The Wildcats finished the regular season with a record of 9–2, good enough to qualify for the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs, their fifth appearance under Jay Hill. The Wildcats defeated North Dakota in the opening round, but were defeated by Montana State the following round. After the season, head coach Jay Hill announced he would step down as Weber State head coach to accept the Defensive Coordinator position at BYU. Offensive coordinator Mickey Mental was announced as Hill's successor.
The 1993 Weber State Wildcats football team represented Weber State University as a member of the Big Sky Conference during the 1993 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Dave Arslanian, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 7–4 with a mark of 3–4 on conference play, tying for fifth place in the Big Sky. It was the team's third consecutive winning season. In their October 23 matchup against Nevada, the Wildcats upset the NCAA Division I-A Wolfpack, for their second consecutive victory against the former conference foe. Weber State played their home games at Wildcat Stadium in Ogden, Utah.
